Haha, thanks, I understand how a road crew works. It's the part where Ratty is the head of his department that I'm questioning. I've never seen him referred to that way before. And he has a tendency to self-aggrandize a little bit, so I was curious.

Sorry I wasn't sure. . .
Ratty's claim is genuine. The job fell to him or Crystal, as longest serving crew members. Crystal apparently didn't want the hassle.
If Crystal does write a book, I think it will be very interesting and could be very revealing. He is a great story teller and spent a lot of down time with Roger. A few years back he contributed some great tales to the QFC website.
