But who cares and why would Roger and Brian address it? It is not our business and they may not even be sure and probably aren't as upset about it as your are. Nobody is saying Adam is perfect, where do you get that from? I have said he makes mistakes, but I don't think he can be blamed for this one. I don't care if he flubs a line or any of that other stuff. I don't expect perfection out of anyone. I think he makes less mistakes singing than almost anyone because of his technique. His singing is impeccable even if he flubs a line. He has broken down laughing when something silly happens and the audience laughs with him. No one maintains he is perfect, but for me, the shows are as close to perfect as they can be even with little bloopers. I could give him an earful about mistakes I think he makes with his career and his music, so no, I don't think he is perfect at all.
I'm a pretty big Queen fan for years now. I notice when things don't go the right way. This was an important event for many causes, so I do wish Briancould explain, but I doubt he wil l
I'm not upset. I simply noticed that something happened during their performance here, and I discuss it, because I watched it and I noticed some went wrong. Until yesterday, I didn't say anything about lip syncing.
SweetCaroline has said AL and Q +AL is perfect, that's where I got that from since you ask. I don't expect perfection either, and I've said that more than once.
So AL's singing is impeccable even when he messes up...no, I don't think so. I would even say Freddie's singing was impeccable all of the time.
Why would you give AL an earful for what mistakes you think he has made? I know I say alot about him on Queen boards, but I couldn't imagine giving him an earful about it in real life, nor would I want to fo so.
At least you realise he isn't perfect. I agree, no one is.

Because some of us picked up on some thing/s not being right with performance.
At least you admit shit happens. I really don't think this was their best performance by a long shot.
People pick up on things that happen with every artist live, either at an event like this or in their solo shows and unless there's some huge problem that causes the event to get stopped halfway through or similar they don't give explanations they just deal with the situation and carry on. Brian did post about their being technical issues but none of the press have mentioned it and people who were at the show loved it, they had the largest viewing figures of all the Global Citizen events this year, a large increase from last year and raised more money than they anticipated so the event was a huge success. This particular song had that issue but overall their performance for the entire show was brilliant and tons of people went on twitter raving about them after the show, many who'd never seen them before and weren't even there to watch Queen but for different artists, I'd say that's a success and what people should be focusing on so why would Brian make some sort of announcement now about what went wrong on one song, that makes no sense to me.

Icy wanted Brian to say, “oh shit” like Adele does when she messes up (several times on live TV) and stop and start over! She forgives Adele because she wanted to make the song perfect. Also, she has never been to a live QAL show which is always so magnificent that if there is a tiny glitch no one gives a flying fuckaroo!

There were sound problems that night for several performers such as Carole King. Also, on MSNBC we didn’t see the whole Rami intro because they were showing an earlier interview with Adam.

Jesus this damn thing doesn't stop does it?

Icy wanted this she wanted that
you wanted this.

FFS just stop it.

Nobody fucking listens to Adele here.

Gotta use that personal forum for tossing insults and speculative suggestion around. The discussion about what may have actually occurred is pretty much over.

matt z, you are 100% correct! Over at QOL, icy is complaining that QAL didn’t get crucified by the press like Ashlee Simpson did for purposely lip synching her SNL performance. The mix-up at the Global Citizens show certainly was NOT on purpose or planned!

Icy wants the glitch to be Adam’s fault because she resents him so much!

I'm not complaining at all. Once again, you run here to bitch about what I post about QOL. I said i remember watching it and Q+AL is lucky that they didn't get press like Ashlee had. My post is still over there, anyone can go look for themselves.
I said nothing about what went wrong being ALs fault, let alone wanting it to be his fault, nor do I resent the guy. Learn how to read what is actually posted, and not what you think is posted, just so you can twist things to suit your agenda. Because you have lied about me 100s of times by now, including here.

I like Adele, I'm a pretty big fan actually. SweetCaroline brings her up, because she doesn't like Adele or me. And she wanted AL to pay tribute to George Michael, and Adele was asked by George Michael's family to do it. AL wasn't.
SweetCaroline has said some awful things about me here. Her own words she hates me, I'm like Hitler and the Gestapo. I'm the "bad" one always, no matter what, she obviously wants you to believe. Please make up your own mind, either way.

You really suck at reading minds. An explanation by Brian would have put the whole matter to rest. Or at least say once and for all exactly what happened.
Oh, you bring up Adele again. It was obvious why Adele messed up, it was highly emotional for her, funny thing you can never admit that she pulled it off the second time. Yea, you wanted AL to pay tribute to George Michael, so no matter who sang other than AL, you would have been unhappy and bitter anyways. Funny, that you aren't even an Adele or George Michael fan, but you always gripe about Adele and her tribute, I bet you were hoping she would have failed miserably...which she didn't.
And btw, AL has cursed and has become emotional onstage as well, so your outrage about Adele is quite something.
Oh the crap about seeing Q+AL live again so that means I should not say anything that you don't like, or sgree with? Sorry, i will say how i feel. You haven't seen Adele live, but you sure bitch enough about her, every chance you get, funny enough.
It's tit for tat for tat for you, envy and bitterness, and you said yourself that you hate me, there you have it.. Everyone you and evertime you think that is in or AL's way, or has differing views than you have, you end up doing this type of thing just to deflect and make AL look bigger and better even than Freddie.
Have the guts to bring this up on QOL, but you won't because you are too chicken shit. So run here and try to turn things around time and time again.
That's the hate you have for me and you only judge me by what I say on Queen boards, and that's enough for you to hate me, wow you are so twisted. That says so much about you when you lash out and twist yourself in knots trying to make me look awful. People here have minds of their own, except for you.

Believe me I can see some of your negative points about Queen + Adam Lambert are true or at least partly, but you'd shouldn't be that negative as it's doing such a great thing to the band. If you don't agree, selfish...
What are this great things you are talking about? It is cringeworthy since day 1 and always has been. A shame to a once mighty Rock band.

There is NADA positive about this shitfest called QAL. Anyone with taste and a lil common sense knows that. Maybe they all say "yes it was satire" in a few years

You are one of the few with that viewpoint, so it is best to ignore you! Go put your nose in the corner and chill for a while!

Few???? Most of the QL haters don't post at all. Even the mod of the official Board hates QAL. That says something. Ther are 4(!!!!!!) loonies on here who rave about Lamebird. 99% go to a QAL show because of Maylor playing together regardless who is singing.

And it also says something that a (not so good) rerelease of a 34 year old 80's album by Freddie sells a lot more than Lambirds abomination he just released.
After the lip syncing debacle and his mega solo flop he just disappeared. WHich is a good sign. Hope he never returns

for i don't haven't read all the hate provided here...
.
yes. it looks like lip-syching. maybe it was just spike hitting the wrong key.
hell... this is TV. just another game.
i'm sure there's no backup neccessary whilst performing their regular shows. although i don't know.
well. it istn't like freddie hadn't lip synched before... was it the works tour ? i guess so. there was some kind of TV-show, wasn't there ?
it isn't like brian had done the same in '98... on "on my way up" on italian tv, hasn't he ? (correct me if i'm wrong.)
so what ?
they did a TV gig. in order to have everything going and running they may have had some outside help in form of a backing tape. it's common for THAT kind of show.
.
simple as that.
