for i don't haven't read all the hate provided here...
.
yes. it looks like lip-syching. maybe it was just spike hitting the wrong key.
hell... this is TV. just another game.
i'm sure there's no backup neccessary whilst performing their regular shows. although i don't know.
well. it istn't like freddie hadn't lip synched before... was it the works tour ? i guess so. there was some kind of TV-show, wasn't there ?
it isn't like brian had done the same in '98... on "on my way up" on italian tv, hasn't he ? (correct me if i'm wrong.)
so what ?
they did a TV gig. in order to have everything going and running they may have had some outside help in form of a backing tape. it's common for THAT kind of show.
.
simple as that.

Oh, so now it's maybe because of Spike hitting the wrong key, that's a new one LOL.
Freddie lip synched at one event, that im aware of, not for a whole tour, but do try to turn the tables on Freddie to try to make AL look better. We can't have a Q+AL discussion about what was noticed at this particular event, without some trying to make Freddie look bad. Alrighty then.
I don't know if Brian ever lip synched.
I noticed right away when it went wrong for Q+AL at this event, and the fan video that has been posted here, has made it more obvious something went wrong, and it does look like lip syncing for those few seconds at least.

I meant you were suggesting QAL lip synced whole tours.

Nobody is turning tables on Freddie, but you look at him as the gold standard and he does no wrong (even when you say he did something wrong). How can you hold Adam to a different standard? And it wasn't just Adam, the whole band was off. There was no lip synching, it is the stupidest thing I have ever heard if you think about it for a while. You people will entertain any idea no matter how dubious, if you think it puts Adam and QAL in a negative light. They you sit there, rubbomg your hands together and are just as gleeful as you can all be. Kind of sickening actually. There was a technical glitch, nobody cared except on the Queen boards, and everyone else enjoyed the show and moved on. It is as simple as that.

Where have I ever said Freddie never did not wrong, I've admitted that he did things wrong, so no higher standard. You get so much wrong, yet you say you've read my for 10 years, no, I don't think so.
It's sick when someone can't ever admit to the almighty AL ever being anything less than perfect. She's already said more than once he's person no matter what. Guess what, he isn't.
No, you want people to move on, because you can't stand that people have noticed some things went wrong. Hell, I know people who watched the same thing I did, and aren't even big time Queen fans that noticed something was wrong. I should give their thoughts here like SweetCaroline does about her son, when she can't think think for herself, right?

Oh hell no. Even I wouldn't say, or even think that. I think if Q+AL did that, it would have been known by now.

yes... the san remo festival it was. sorry for not remembering that kind of venue.
not a whole tour. "it's a hard life" proves THAT.
.
yes brian lip-synched, too... not remembering the special venue... but he made fun of it.... doing.
.if AL synched for a whole tour. i could not imagine. because he has a full bag of pipes... and he's .... yes: "dangeraous" to deliver. and he's welcome imho. he's a spare singer the best one one could wish... to deliver the whole range of songs that... "queen"-band was able to compose. oh. i wish for a "miracle" to happen. or an "innuendo". let's wait and see. he's doing well. the performance of "love kills" was grand. and yet an encomplishment to its original creator.
no. AL won't be any mercury at any time. imho. he's welcome. to deliver some kind of sound we all would miss.
brian don't seem to write any songs anymore.
roger... indeed does ... but not the kind of "hits" (welcome anyways!)
.
they keep their legacy alive. so what ?
personally i enjoyed their kind of works. didn't you ? didn't you enjoy some brian and roger to play live ?
.
and ... yes... initially... the kind of subject was a tv gig. special rules... as i intended to say. not what they hadn't do, yet.

@runner_70 ... there was even ... commercial evidence. was it some issue of the "wembley"-DVDs ? yes. freddie singing and ... noticing... so some seconds very after... that a mic would be a help. he was performing. not well but... anyways.

Don't know if I can say what I think about Freddie lip synching at SRF...but I will anyways. The cheeky man ;-) and yes it was so obvious that he wasn't really singing. I get a kick out of it.
My favourite parts of the Q+AL shows, are honestly not when AL is singing. I love DOOL and LOML...both beautifully done as tributes is how I see that.
I don't agree that the shows are dangerous though. That's Brian hyping things up, and some people think it's dangerous. I'm not one of them.
Brian and Roger still do solo music every now and then, which I'm happy about, because I eN joy what they have done recently. Their whole worlds don't revolve around Lambert, and it shouldn't revolve around him anyways, and vice versa.
Queen's legacy was always intact. There was no worry it would have died out. I know many people who became Queen fans because of the Bohemian Rhapsody biopic. My young nice ended up loving CLTCL because it was on a toy gutair she played with, and even now it's one of her favourite songs. I guess what I'm saying here, is that it's not only because of Q+AL that people become Queen fans, or that Q+AL the reason Freddie and Queen are still loved and played etc.

How would you know? I doubt you were looking over his shoulder every time he performed. So, you don't know. None of us us do know for sure either way, but hey get all CAPS MAD/UPSET again.

I've appreciated and attended the QAL tours. They are many things...mostly positive imho.

LOL. One thing they are NOT is "dangerous".

“LIVE and dangerous!” Don’t you think it is dangerous when Brian gets elevated on that platform to play his red special in “outer space” with planets revolving around him? :-)
