er, - to name your entire music collection?
absolutely NOTHING prior to 1980? astonishing!
Also, whatever credibility your record collection might have, was utterly discredited by the inclusion of Lily Allen in your "list".

Are you seriously going to act elitist and full of yourself?
Don't you think it's sad you judge a person based on some trivial list of albums he listens to? C'mon man, i expected more of you.

Just some albums i have on high rotation for the last 20 years.
My music collection is way bigger than this and covers all sorts of genres over multiple decades.

Nothing wrong with Lilly Allen by the way.
We love you Mandy!

No judgment was being made (save for Ms Allen) - just observation. Here's my reply:

line 1 - a comment with regard to the title of the thread...i thought my list was long - but your's ...well IS LONG
line 2 - most Queen fans tend to like some other bands prior to 1980. It's not a criticism, just an observation.
line 3 - i gave your list due credibility but also cast my own view (which I'm entitled to) with regard to Lily Allen

I think you've taken my post a little out of context.

One does not simply pick a favourite album[/QUOTE]
I can. But that doesn't mean it doesn't change with my moods.

most of my list:
Beatles - Abbey Road
Rush - Moving Pictures
George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
Deep Purple - Burn
Rainbow - LLRnR, Rising & Down to Earth
Cars - The Cars
Julian Cope - World Shut Your Mouth
Def Leppard - On Through The Night
Eagles - HC / One of These Nights / Long Run
Killers - Battle Born
Elton - Madman...
Bowie - Diamond Dogs / Heroes / Hunky
Zep - I, II, PG, In Thru The Out Door
Seger - Night Moves
Strawbs - Bursting At The Seams

at one point or another are my favourite - quite often for a couple of months (or longer) at a time.
Sometimes, Queen II, Boston and Rubber Soul also get that spot.
But for the longest time Abbey Road has been my go to album.

Also, whatever credibility your record collection might have, was utterly discredited by the inclusion of Lily Allen in your "list". - Judgemental and unnecessary. Of course you're entitled to your opinion, but in my opinion you're being judgemental solely on the "inclusion" of that album. ;) Yes, my list was too long, but picking just one album outside Queen is just impossible.

Not judgmental - just an absolute loathing for LA's album. I think it's rubbish. Agreed - i had the same difficulty as you did.

The Fairy King, I’m surprised you didn’t include “The Joshua Tree” in your favorite U2 albums.
