If the cameraman agreed to put the TV camera why then did he film on his phone? It sounds like he's a Queen fan so surely he would've done that in the first place. And if they're claiming his phone footage was for personal use, how come they have leaked the footage to the public for thousands and even millions of people could access? The press are a bunch of liars and love infringing people's lives. It's the major flaw of being famous, it's just something you just have to try and deal with, even though you can't all the time.

Brian's wrath comes from the Earth's molten core. If he were to fully unleash it all I can say is ... Road House.

Hope he sues the shit out of the old angry man.
That's a horrible thing to say from a Queen fan who should know about the horrible things the press did for ALL the members. Shame on you.
What horrible thing did the camera guy do? He filmed May. He clearly saw the camera before he got out of the car. If you are not up for it do not get out. Is that a reason to hit the camera man . No fucking way. That has nothing do with being a Queen fan nor something to do with the horrible British tabloid press. The camera man was from the broadcast channel that televises the charity concert. Dick move from May no matter how you twist an turn it. And this is his real face not the shy polite guy who always thinks twice before talking. THis is an angry violent old man past his prime.

The real face of May is shining thru more and more. I always said he is a two faced guy.
Mr Bad Guy so to speak.
You haven't got a clue.
As ever, it's the people who haven't dealt with the press infringing on their private lives for 40 years who are the self-appointed experts on the matter.

I agree, unfortunately.
I think his character is one of the main reasons John retired, not just because of Freddie's passing.
You might be right. It surely must have been a combination of both.

Journalism at its finest ... oh our poor cameraman is innocent. Let's just show the tail end of the of this nonevent and make Brian look as bad as possible. Brian was clearly shielding a young boy from the paparazzi.
Of course the sham media outlet won't show the minute leading up to Brian's short outburst, as that would make them look bad. Oh well, Channel 7 got its internet clicks and they are getting their blood money ...
Fuck the media ... liberal or conservative ... The media is no longer about the news and is instead about producing their bias to get maximum emotional response and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
bang. fucking. on.
Thank you for stating the obvious. There is not a chance that there was no build-up to this climax.

There's a longer version of this clip which shows a lot more of what actually happened. He clearly said for him to stop and he didn't.

So, nearly all the broadcasts Channel 7 News and media outlets have done only show him shouting at the cameraman without any of the footage before of why he got angry. This is dodgy journalism.
At the end of the day, he wanted privacy to meet fans whilst himself and others were being filmed for national news without their consent. He clearly was doing the right thing which unsurprisingly, the media ignored.
