Well done to the boys.

Although japanese people still like virtuoso, glamour and sexually ambiguous rock acts, and the rest of the world still like their exotic vinyl or CD releases, being great in Japan today is not as great as it was 40 years ago.

Nothing to do with Adam of course but just Brian and Roger been professional musicians all these years!
Adam wasn't in the photo Brian tweeted. Why did you need to go out of your way to bring him up ?

It's almost like you're constantly rife with hate and became an internet troll to let off the steam, to absolutely no avail because their concerts continue to sell out.

Nah, couldn't be.

And it's "being", not "been". Consult a dictionary if you're going to express yourself on the internet with an audience of people over the age of ten.

well, Freddie sure as hell hasn't been touring with them these last few years. unless their concert setlists have been instrumental-only, then i think you'll find AL has been a huge part of things.
whether you (or I) like it or not.

If it weren't for Freddie we wouldn't be here talking about some overweight karaoke singer in 2020. The reason we are is 100 percent down to Freddie. Have you forgotten how queen were on the verge of disappearing in the mid 70s. They needed a big hit and it was Freddie who duly delIvered. First with killer queen, then with no rhap and somebody to love and watc. If it hadn't been for that Adam Lameass would be working as a companion for hire and Brian would be a failed astronomer.
You seriously made a new account to spew more hate? You really need a kick in the teeth.

This is the first time I made an account here. If you think that I'm runner 70 or one of the other anti brian, anti crapbert posters, you couldn't be more mistaken.

Don't belive me? Get in touch with the admin and he or she will tell you that my isp address has never logged on this site before -- ever.
anyone can change an IP addr. and the use of the "crapbert" moniker, doesn't exactly do much to quell accusation, does it?
ST16 wrote:Queen still sell tickets because they are linked to that memory of Freddie Mercury and many have more respect for Brian and Roger than a weird fucked up freak than Adam Lambert.
do YOU honestly think that people are going to see this incarnation of Queen because of a memory or respect for Bri/Rog? People are going because they like what they see/hear.
As I said before; it's not to my taste - so I don't go. but if it was anything other than a great experience then the write-ups/reviews would be shit...and people would stop going.

they weren't, and it hasn't. therefore, your/runner_70/Freddie Jupiter and any other gainsayers opinions are in a microscopic (but largely vocal) woefully incorrect minority.

shout, shout and shout again...but it makes no difference. if something is working, people buy it.

and YOU and your gainsayers continue to lose, your abject futility - railing against a juggernaut of popular opinion. you can't stop it, so why waste energy trying?
Freddie Jupiter wrote:Do you guys honestly think that there are only three people in the world who disapprove of Brian's behaviour of late, and who also happen to dislike crapbert?
You guys are delusional AF.
the real delusion is that your minority group actually believe yourselves to be popular opinion. you really couldn't be further form the truth.

Yeah and it could be argued that if Brian and Roger hadn't formed Smile and consequently met Freddie Freddie's only contribution to popular music may have been the Wreckage recordings and those songs sound piss poor in comparison to what Smile did.

So yeah Brian May could well be an Astronomer now if it wasn't for music. Why a failed astronomer? He was invited by Sir Bernard Lovell to join his team of research astronomers, doesn't sound like a path to failure. He attained a high level of education. So where would Freddie be without his musical career, he didn't have anything else lined up and didn't have anything like the degree Brian May had. . . . . Market trader?

It wasn't just Freddie, it was the collective talents of the four of them that made Queen work, of course that would have escaped you just viewing Queen as being Freddie.
ST16 wrote:@Vocal Harmony Freddie could have gone into fashion or a Graphics Designer he was a very talented guy and music was not his only choice of career. If it was not for Freddie's input then the other three would not have hit the big time.
and he may not have. it's all conjecture.

the point being. Brian, Roger and John had much better academic qualifications - which would better equip them for life in the real world - should music plans fall through.

Brian May: Physics BSc Honours - degree
Roger Taylor: Biology BSc - degree
John Deacon: Electronics 1st Class Honours - degree
Freddie Mercury: graphic art and design - diploma

Freddie's qualification - a diploma is inferior to a degree and significantly inferior to a BSc honours degree.

Then there's the age thing:
The band were around 26-27 when their first LP was released and 28 by the time of the first hit. This is considerably old for rock/pop bands.
Roger and Brian had recorded an LP back in the 60s - so they were business aware, Freddie wasn't.
