Bob Harris - News Of The World (OGWT Documentary Compilation - UPDATED)

Also check the position of the stairways and the position of the lights above the stairways and compare them with the second video at let's say 0:59 - I "think" - I repeat - THINK that the packing the equipment is from the Omni and the soundcheck is from The Summit in Houston

And also, if you look at the top of that photograph, you'll see a jumbotron like screen! -Chin

Also are you sure about the WWRY clip being from Houston? Didn't somebody (maybe even you?) compare it a few years back with the bootleg video and found out Freddie's movement is different?

Oh shit yeah, completely forgot about that! Freddie's movements are quite similar but are still different. So we officially have two different concert clips. It's gonna be next to impossible to know which night that shot is from though, without some sort of inside information, as there's nothing distinguishing at all. BOB HELP US lol. So the shot of Brian from the same angle is also from the same night but the shot of Brian as the solo ends is still Houston, correct? I've slapped that WWRY opening onto the Fort Worth date for now. Maybe we'll never know, unless more footage is shown :(

Let's not forget Dec 7 was a day off. They easily could have arrived in Atlanta the day before.

They played two nights in Long Beach. Maybe the film crew made it to the west coast? We know they were in Vegas, and Long Beach is just five days later.

We know so little. We don't know if they filmed two shows or ten.

The best person to ask would be Bob Harris. QPL isn't going to give any answers.

But who knows how much Harris remembers. I can't tell you what I had for dinner two nights ago, never mind something I did 20 or 30 years ago.

I don't know if it's footage from 1977 but in the end of the documentary "Rocks The World" we see limousines drives off onto the road. You hear or see text that 3 years later they had their number 1 album in America.
If you change the audio from Bob with something else, is that a possibilty to add that bit onto the end of the doc?

Oh yeah, completely forgot about that footage at the end, will add those. Just looking, Freddie is wearing that creamy coloured jacket, which would lead me to believe that they are heading to the 'Fort Worth' gig.

Just spotted another thing, these don't look like the same Arenas to me, so perhaps the 'Atlanta' Soundcheck is actually Houston and the stage crew packing away the equipment is actually Atlanta? Houston?: Atlanta?: -Chin

The packing footage is Fort Worth. The Omni is built much more like a polygon, whereas Fort Worth is much more rounded as in the image above. Just comparing seating layouts and parts of the architecture in other images of the venues from different events, I can pretty certainly say that the "Atlanta" soundcheck footage is actually from the Summit in Houston, and that the crew footage is almost certain to be from Fort Worth. As for the WWRY clips, god knows.
