What one thing does Lap of the Gods (Revisited), The Millionaires Waltz, and Drowse all have in common? I thought of this on my way to school this morning...let's see which muscian here can figure it out if they don't know already!

Hmm, they all contain the letter 'e'?

I don't think 'Drowse' is in 3/4. I may be wrong.

I'm really crap with time sigs etc. Is it 12/6 or something for all of them?

Is it that they're all songs? Or maybe that they're all songs by Queen? In other words, I have no clue.

They all have stanzic subdivisions which are hemistetically ultra-rhythmic.

Der, anyone knows that. It was sort of silly stating the obvious...that is that Tony Blair is made of goats..

They are all in triple-time or variants thereof.
I'd say Drowse and ITLOTG are in 6/8, and TMW is mostly in 3/4.

yes queensqueenie and bohardy! that's what they all have in common...i have this habit of counting time when those songs come on....lol...aren't those the only queen songs like that though?
Lester Burnham · Member since
Flash, you mean they have stanzic subdivisions which ARE NOT hemistetically ultra-rhythmic. Sheesh.

3/4 time was the first thing that popped into my head when I read the opening post.
