Eh, I'll rent it when it comes out on video. I'm just waiting to see if it pisses off the Christians like The Last Temptation of Christ did! (or even any group for that matter) People get so uptight over a movie.

I think that the real can of worms was opened with the anti-semitic comments coming from Mel Gibson's dad.
The worst part of all is that Mel Gibson seemed to defend him.
I might go to see it, though I'm far more intersted on watching 'City Of God'.

Looks too gory for me. Watching Jim Caviezel get his eyes pecked out and drunk dry by crows is, for some reason, not exactly my cup of tea. Looks like a well-done movie, just not my kinda thing. I've got a rather weak stomach.
Plus, NKU is putting on Jesus Chbrist Superstar! I can go see a far less bloody depiction of the whole thing for the same amount.

However, it is rarely good to boycott something simply on word of mouth. Haven't seen the film yet, so can't say how anti-Semitic it may or may not be, but to toss it out completely at this point is far from open minded.
