Billy Joel ROCKS!!!

His classical album was ace (released in 2000)! But, I also hope he goes back into the studio with some new material. COME OUT OF "RETIREMENT" BILLY!!!!

the "Old Grey Whistle Test" performance of Billy Joel, ever since they broadcast it here on tv as part of "Rock Masters" series (and my tape is ruined unfortunately)

Ooh! Old topic! Anyway, I just got ahold of Billy's "The Bridge", And I think it is a stunning album! I had heard it before, Even owned it onece, But I never gave it much thought. When I went and sold a CRAP-LOAD of my CD's about a year or two ago, I sold it as well. What a HUGE mistake THAT was! This is one HECK of an album!!! There isn't a song on it that I don't love! :D Anyone else like it?

Well, she doesn't have much more than a backing vocal part, really, thank God. I think she is credited as co-writer of the lyrics, though. I don't know how much of those she really wrote, though. They're pretty good lyrics, either way.

I have a pretty cool remix of Modern Woman that contains a bridge that isn't in the album version of the song. Shoot me an e-mail ([email protected]) if you're interested in hearing it.

I have always quite liked him live as well, I just recently went to the library and they had an old (as old as your truly) concert VHS from Long Island, And it is GREAT! As for bootlegs... I'm quite interested in that! Any clue where I should start looking? I've never been to good at finding rare things from anyone. LOL!

Give me a couple weeks, Danno. I might be able to swing you a copy of some stuff I got.
