Janet writ: "I don't look at Delilah as disgrace or a shame to Queen, rather I look at it as indulging a dying man who obviously loved his cat very much, and who was greatly comforted by her during his final days. I appreciate it for what I take it to be."

That's exactly the way I feel about it, plus I think it's a cute song.

Of course Arnaldo :)

As Sharon Swab, former A&R at Hollywood Records once told me: "Different opinions make the world go around"

"Ok, they did it for Freddie. But did it really need to be recorded, and, even worse, released?! :)"

Yes, it really had to be released, because in other case, I couldn't sing along with Freddie: "Ooooooh, you make me soooo very happy, you give me kisses and I go out of my mind, and then you make me slightly mad when you pee all over my............":)))) My fave part:)) Delilah rocks!!!:)))
Give me a good guitar, and you can say that my hair's a disgrace, oh, just find me an open car - I'll make the speed of light out of this place...

All time worst has to be Have a cigar, with foo fighters. With a solo like that he should have never attached his name to the project.

lol:D indeed! Playing with Foo Fighters has gotta be only annoying thing I find about Brian May! I mean, those guys are destroying Rock 'n Roll for everyone! Where's the fun in their music? Where are the smiles? And as a matter fact, where are guitar in solos in almost any new rock song? Gone!!!! What we need back is good old heavy metal and classic rock!

Hehe... :)

I retracted it just for you, but it doesn't mean I'm retracting it for many other people. There are far too many music fans who cannot appreciate anything differentor innovative, because it didn't sound like what they're used to hearing. Why else does every pop song sound the same these days? Because the commercial listening audience has little to no diversity, and therefore, the truly innovative musicians aren't welcome. Who's to blame? MTV. Completely. Start at 1980 and watch the steady decline in the overall quality of chart hits, and at the same time, watch how more and more important the image becomes, and not the quality of music.

Lordmazza, the sound of commercial rock music is going way downhill, I agree. But the key word is "commercial". Check out bands like Dream Theater, Symphony X, Stratovarius, and Pain Of Salvation. These are the bands that should be saving commercial rock music, but today's audience isn't interested in them. These bands are over the heads 90% of the listening audience.

I see your point, Guitar Hero. Hip hop young fans are a nice example. Of course there are exceptions, but they seem to only want to listen to that kind of music. Weird :)
