I Wrote To Brian May... and he wrote back!!!!

Okay. I have to regain my composure... but 2 days ago I sent an email to Brian ... and he wrote back today.

And you can see it on the website!!!! I'd post it here but the post would be too long and you'd all scroll past. SO. I believe I'd still be the first letter on there (the subject is: WHAT A CONCERT).

Go ahead. Go scream with me. I screamed when I opened my email today.

That was a great letter Erica! I'm not surprised he replied. I know how you feel.. I've gotten a couple of replies and it feels very special to know that someone like Brian cares about what we have to say :)

I got a little message from Jen today in regards to a slight correction Justin wanted to make (Justin Shirley Smith's email to me came via the same brians.soapbox email addy).. so it is my impression that Jen sorts the soapbox mail and decides what Brian gets to read, or in this case, who gets the appropriate mail..

Yes- I accidentally got an email back from Jen that was meant to be sent to Brian saying that he should definitely read mine. I quickly got another email saying that it was misdirected and I wrote back asking if he'd even read it and she said he'd definitely be interested in reading it.

But do you think it's Brian that actually responds? Why can't he then just determine what HE wants to respond to, not Jen?

I'm sure his replies are real... I think Jen is just a sort of a filter because he probably gets tons of email on the same subjects and doesn't have time to read them all.

She probably pastes them into a new email to him.. which is why you accidently got that one... his personal email addy is probably a closely guarded secret :) (Check the headers carefully and see if it was CC'd, LOL!)

And then he sends his replies back to her.. perhaps in one email and then she sorts everything and pastes them to the right people as well as adding some to the site..
