Yeah it's truly amazing because here is someone who is so ridiculously famous and important to the music world and who is a living legend. I honestly cannot believe it.
Hey you guys are so much nicer than at queen-online. I don't like those guys over at that message board! >:O

I know about your emails from Brian, Dan. He mentions them when I pop round his place for tea and scones ;-)
Oh yeah, I've heard about those too.. weekly pleas for an album of Queen covering Billy Joel songs. Sad but sweet ;)
Edit: Nope, don't see any extra addresses in the headers, but I didn't mean to paste them here, hehe. Sometimes it's not a good idea to post your IP address and stuff publically :)

I feel quite computer illiterate now but I never exactly understood what an IP address tells...

Ohh wow. :-|
So I really hope the answer is from him and not Jen! I'm sure it is... he's so ridiculously nice!

"I was referring to the overly selectivity of hers on what e-mails go and don't go through to Brian."
I think such censorship is unfortunately necessary (and I don't think she censors it all the time anyway).
I personally think that Brian usually answers only praise or naive emails and he doesn't respond to really interesting questions but that's of course his choice.

- yea I also thought that was kind of obvious.

BTW, I've been in contact with Valensia lately. He released his Queen Tribute in May 2003 and immediately sent a copy of the album to Brian/Roger/QP. Never even got a single reply, he even mailed BM on his soapbox. Meanwhile, Brian sents handwritten letters to people making wooden Queen standups and other (IMO :-)) crap, while Valensia worked over a month on his recreation of BoRhap and would love to hear something from BM/RT, they're his heroes too (besides Freddie/Kate Bush etc)....

- I think that probably would be incuded under 'praise', as I dont think he'd reply to any letter which slags the musical off! :-)

I have the same impression. I sent him a mail once because I finally wanted to be sure who played the solo in Who Needs You, all he would have had to answer was "Me." or "John." No reply. Although I did include some praise.
