[QUOTE][QUOTENAME]Ginger01 wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Seeding is easy - simply open your torrent and point it at your (completed) file, just like you did when the file was incomplete and you were downloading. You will see zero download speed (normal, since you are not downloading anything) but hopefully you will see an upload speed from people who are downloading your file. You are now seeding.
Depending on the BT client you are using you might have to make some adjustments to the settings - if you have put "seed indefinitely" (in terms of time)this is fine. In terms of volume you might want to set your client to 500% (or even more).
Simple, isn't it? Hope this is of help.

My last reply wound up on top - hope this goes where it should...
Just wanted to thank you for your help. I've been seeding - giving not just taking! Thanks!

Hi ! I've got a question, just about FLAC, how can I convert Flac into MP3 or at least .wav ? Thanx for your answers !
Ginger01 · Member since
You can convert FLAC into .wav with the programme
http://flac.sourceforge.net/
which you can find in a previous post on this page. To convert to mp3, Nero can do it but I'm sure there are lots of other programmes that can do so as well.

Is there any specific version of BitTorrent that would download these concerts or would any version? (I'm completley new to the whole BitTorrent thing)

Please, please, help me!
It's a couple of days I can't download any torrent, it all worked fine before...
In View/Log it says: "Problem connecting to tracker - <urlopen error (10060, 'Operation timed out')>
What can I do???
Thanks a lot.

I have a seeding question.
I just finished downloading the Vienna and Caracas DVD torrents and am now seeding both. What I don't understand is why, if there are peers for each, one uploads at 34KBs while the other only goes at either 1KB or none at all. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to balance that out? No matter what 'maximum upload rate' I enter, one file out-runs the other.

can anyone please be kind enough to explain to me why the torrent download is sooo slow and most of the times doesnt work!?!?!! please!
Thank you very much!

what kind of decoder or media software does one need to play the torrents, (there are some weird filetypes (VOB< IFO etc)?
Thanx

I'm having a problem seeding the LK thing. When I open up the BitTornado program and start seeding, whether there are people there or not, the light just stays red. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks.

Maybe remove the apostrophe's from your song titles, and create another torrent with a slightly different name. that has helped me once or twice.

Well, there's no apostrophes to worry about but there is the name thing. I'll try it. Thanks.
