United States
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

US, but I would venture to guess that many Queen fans are still "in the closet", so to speak.

UK, most definitely. The home of the boys and the fan club...and the musical, which I hope does well in the US come September.
There are plenty of US fans. They tend to come out of the woodwork for the annual conventions...

Yea. U.K. Only good reason to live here. Not a day goes by without me seeing at least one Queen vid on a music channel.

The US would have to have more, if for no other reason, the population. Now, if you take it as a percent, the UK would have more, by far. But, as far as sheer numbers of people, the US, in my mind anyhow, would have more.

Let's say Europe as a whole then! Queen played more times overseas than in the US. I'm grateful for the 13 times I saw them, though I envy the lot that enjoyed them at Wembley and Knebworth!
The closest I've been to a crowd that size was seeing the Stones in Memphis, TN (Mid-South Coliseum) in 1976.

Does anyone really know the answer, i doubt it, just think of all the millions of fans the guys had in South America and Asia.
There must be more to life than this.

Anywhere you go in the world there is at least one thing related to Queen.

Of 67 people involved in the bootleg tree (myself included), 18 are from the UK, 13 are from the USA, and 8 are from the Netherlands ...

Or in terms of continents: 18 in North and South America, 42 in Europe, and 7 in Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Hmm. USA (of which I am one) are definitely in the closet (shame!) --- so maybe it's more obvious in Europe. It would make sense.

I think the US has the most fans, because there are more people living in the states than in the UK. But when it comes to %, the UK wins

I would say the UK,because their albums have usually been more successful on the charts than in the US. *Thinking of moving to the UK*

This is just in:

USA counts officially 4,332,604 Queen fans.
UK has "only" 3,806,214 Queen fans.

Really, it's true......

On a more serious note: Come on people, you can go on discussing for ages, you will never ever be able to get the right answer.

And by the way, I think India has quiet a lot "fans" as well. China doesn't, Queen is illegal over there.
