Next Wednesday the 14th of July Channel 5 here in the UK will screen an hour long documentary on Freddie's varied love-life.
No doubt it will be a 'talking heads' show with various z-list celebs and Kate Thornton and most probably Jim Hutton (needs the money) talking about Freddie's sordid gay, straight and bisexual affairs. Painting Freddie as a sexual deviant shagging rent-boys in Brazil, wearing leather, leaving sod all to his 'husband' Jim and the obligitory dwarfs with cocaine story.
Should be great! Can't wait.

Hmm...I am not sure what to think of it. It seems all wrong to have people talk about Freddie's personal and love -life on tv. I don't really know if I would want to watch it to be honest, although I probably would, in the end. But with mixed feelings.

Yes well, I understand you Sally. But anyway it maybe interesting anyway. If anyone can record it...
The worst thing to me is to try to understand the fast talking of Huton, God, I can't understand anything from him!

Why can't they put 'Live At Milton Keynes' on again, for fuck's sake, instead of this sordid documentary on turd burglary?
Turns my stomach, that kind of talk.
Pah, I'll end up watching it, though.

Well, considering that the "When Kenny Met Freddie" documentary was pretty interesting, I'll watch it. Mind you, it is channel 5, so I shouldn't really compare it with Channel4. But still, even Channel4 can be as bad... What ever happened to Channel4? Used to be much better than it is now.
EDIT: I'll record it onto the computer. Just remind me!
Peace,
Adam.

Ew. Seriously is this program necessary? Not that I'll see it because I'm over here in the US, but still.

Why are all these shows on in the UK? NO FAIR!!!

Seems very invasive, not something that Freddie would've wanted. But then again, I can't watch it anyway.

I would watch it out of curiousity but that's it. Why they waited 13 years for a "come out/tell all" show is degrading to Freddie because he's not here to defend himself.
Keep in mind Freddie fought hard to keep his private life private when he was still amongst the living. His so-called "friends and lovers" should follow suit to honour his memory! Sadly, money talks...

I agree. Freddie would not have wanted people to know these things. It's disrespectful to his memory.

There's always ebay!
I'll probably DVD it if anyone's interested.
