We can also always appreciate when John used to flick peanuts at Brian during his solos.

Igsm - Is 2000 miles close? LA never gets snow.
I thought only Americans did not know geography. Of course my knowledge of Australia is pathetic. I know that Sydney and Melbourne are on the east coast but am not sure of their North South relationship.
[QUOTENAME]earwig wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Yep definately the Deacon run at the end of the Wembley 86 gig. Also "Everybody knows I can't play the f**king guitar" or "This shitty guitar never plays the chords I want it to play".
How about the crew member talking down the PA to "Dave" during Is This The World We Created at Live Aid? I'd love to have seen Mercury & May's faces!!!
No funny faces there. Perhaps they didn't hear that.

Fred introducing AOBTD in Birmingham '84:
'This is called Another One Bites The Balls ...I mean the Dust.'
Freudian slips always make me laugh even if they're said on purpose. This one is no exeption.
So, I think this is a Freddian slip ;)

And I'm not too sure about this but I think Freddie said it in 1985 on the 'The Works' tour about It's a Hard Life 'If I don't make this note I'm going to kill myself'..I guess he made it in the end.
Birmingham 9-2-84. Fred's voice was in rough shape, but he still managed to do the It's A Hard Life intro after making the comment. :)

In an 80's concert, Freddie starts off Save Me..."It started off so well". But Brian missed his piano cue, so Freddie stops and says, "It didn't start off so f**king well!" LOL...LMAO!

Nope. My Americo-Canadian geography is shocking. Too many fucking states for my liking. Eliminate 12 and I'll be happy. Who needs 50+ states anyway? England?
I'll have to watch LAW again. Haven't seen it in a while, come to think of it. I swear to myself if I get into a band and I'm the curly haired bass player I'll flick peanuts at the guitarist.
Must remember to brush up on my American geography. Mind you this is coming from someone who got 28.5% on a Geography exam.

I like the vocal improvisation after Radio Ga Ga during the Live Aid performance. I guess that because it was televised, Freddie couldn't utter his usual expletive after the call and response, just yelling "Alright!" instead. Lo and behold, the crowd repeats this too, like an entire stadium of third graders. Classic.

I do not recall the place nor the date of the concert, but I remember a QUEEN rendition of Tie Your Mother Down in which Freddie was almost silent. Roger and Brian handled most singing at that one. Has anyone figured out which show I am talking about?
Also Brian, on his first solo tour: He kept forgetting to go back to the microphone after the guitar solo on Tie Your Mother Down (you can see that on the Brixton video). Besides, he used to mix the lyrics of Love Of My Life - I specially like when he comments about it.

I can't recall this, but I'd certainly be interested if someone could provide more information! Perhaps it would be referring to a Japanese 79 show when Fred's voice was shot.
