Well, I've already got two DVD players... and the receiver (which I love and don't wish to replace) has 6-channel inputs as well as a spare optical input, so I really just need a DTS decoder to go between a player & the receiver.
If such a stand-alone decoder is such a novelty that it's actually cheaper to get a player with a decoder built-in, then I suppose that's an option too :-P
