I bought the Platimum collection after seeing a documentary on Channel 4 about Queen in about october 1999 and my first album was Innuendo in the Christmas of that year

The first album I bought for myself was A Kind Of Magic. I already had the Platinum collection, and A Kind Of Magic had the most songs I recognized (A Kind Of Magic, One Vision, Friends Will Be Friends and Who Wants To Live Forever).
First Queen album I ever bought was ...Races.
About twelve years later I started buying those Japanese mini-vinyl-replicas (some weeks ago) - and funny enough, ADATR was AGAIN the first album I bought ;-). Don't ask me why...
btw: HELLO TO EVERYONE!! (it's my first post here)

ADATR
somebody to love had hit the charts - and i managed to save some of my paper round money to buy the album
this was quickly followed by ANATO and II. Queen II has always been my favourite - side black is freddie's mini-concept-album

Sheer Heart Attack. I heard KQ and I was hooked. I was 9 years old. Geez...that was 30 years ago!
Sheer Heart Attack was mine too, what a loooonnnggg time ago !
Well not counting GH1 and Classic Queen (North American GH2) Made In Heaven was my first album, kinda went backwards i suppose
My first album was The Game. My brother actually bought it and I had already bought the 45 of CLTCL before the album came out. So, I was interested. I think I listened to it more than he did!
BTW, still have the 45 along with my picture sleeve 45 of WWRY/WATC which was the first thing I ever bought of Queen. I was 10 at the time.
(Yeah....it does go by fast....)

I can't remember, but it was good enough to buy another.
SHA/NOTW. Both on the same day ... I was so excited. :) That was a big deal to me.
News of the World for me. I never really knew much about the band except that my cousin was on tour with them as their lighting engineer. But when I heard "Rock You" on the radio and found out what band it was, I went out to buy the album in the hopes of seeing Joe's name in the credits. It wasn't there till the JAZZ album but I played "News" to DEATH and fell in love with every track. Especially "It's Late." I've been hooked ever since.
The Game was my first Queen vinyl, and I would play Dragon Attack over and over and over for the guitar, bass & drum solos. Then, I discovered the joys of playing 33 1/3 rpm records at 45 rpm. :)
The first Queen album I ever owned...at the end of Third Grade...a friend of mine brought the American Greatest Hits...and the first song I heard was Fat Bottomed Girls...that's the song he skipped to...and I was blown away...then he showed me Bohemian Rhapsody...right after school I conned my parents into taking me to the record store...and I found ANATO...I took it home and played the entire album through...I was blown away and became a die-hard Queen fan...
GREATEST HITS, after hearing INNUENDO in the radio- I was back than shocked the song wasn't there... :)
BUT WITHOUT INCLUDING IT :) - it was JAZZ- again, heard MUSTAPHA in some radio programme about Queen and I had to have the record!!!

Innudeno and Made in Heaven. If you haven't got them, get them. Or I'll send the Killer Queen.
