You want to get into the plumbing trade, that's where the money is. How many marine biologists can put in a bog, not many. But they'll pay good money to have one put in though.
I hope to be working at my local animal shelter soon.
I want my frist job to be in a CD Store.
I need a job. Now that I'm 16, I'm allowed to work, but people here only want to hire people with "experience."

A brilliant, coherant post from Mr Charles Baer.
I work at a daycare center.
How old are you, dear Killer?
I'm 14.
Why?
I'm not old enough for a job. Yay! But I would want to work in a record store. That would be fun! Although, I don't think I would get much money...hmm...
It's early...but it would be volunteering..not working..I wouldn't get paid. But I think that where I live, possibly next year I can be a bagger at a grocery store..woowhoo..
I first worked at Six Flags California, 16 y.o. as a park sweeper. Got promoted to Lead Sweeper after 9 mos. When i got promoted, I had, at one given time, 10 people under my supervision. I quit last august, and am trying to get in Home Depot.
Same here. I was able to work because I just migrated here in the U.S. and I graduated high school at 16, so to be productive, I got a job. I bought myself a car with all that hardwork, makes you feel proud. Just convince your parents of all the reasons why you should work, and reassure them that you're not gonna splurge all your cash on some stupid shit.
Well, if you're gonna buy something like that, buy it secretly, let your parents discover it, and say "Well, it's my money!" They can't do shit about it, but don't do it every time.
I work. Too much...
My son is 17. Last year at 16 he got his first job behind the snack counter at our local cinema. He hated it, but really wanted the money. He is extremely good with computers, and he went to a friends house several months ago and fixed a problem on their computer. The friends Dad, who is vice-president of an engineering and surveying company (and who also handles the computer network at that company) was impressed at how quickly Chris found the problem and fixed it, and asked my son if he'd like a job. Of course, Chris said 'yes!', so he is now the systems administrator and maintains the computer network for that company. He also works at the high school he attends, fixing and maintaining the schools computer network. He just bought his first car, a Corvette. Not bad for a kid who's not even 18 yet....
