Which leads us to the MIH-Versions. IMHO they shouldn't have done it in the first place. I know I'm gonna get slaughtered for that.

I agree. If the rumours are true, there are other demos which could have been used and finished off for the MIH album which would have been a better end result IMO. It's always bothered me a bit that they used existing solo stuff on MIH. I love the versions they produced, but I think if they'd worked on "old" unreleased demos, then that would've given the MIH album even more credit.

I agree with Bohemian. And, while I'm not averse to multiple versions of things, the MIH reworkings added nothing I wanted added. I happen to think MBG is under-rated and that the feel of it was right for the time (and just what Freddie wanted).

And I think he ultimately came back energised because of it.

I'm adamant that I've been listening to the Queen version of Mr Bad Guy..unless some wanker has got the Mr. Bad Guy copy, stripped it of the orchestra and added some l33t, grungy guitars, bass, drums. Kudos.

Blasted Queen and Freddie particular with his rushing about....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!
