Plengel/Pim: Yes - you are correct. I was thinking of "Final Live In Japan" filmed live at Tokyo's National Yoyogi Gimnasium 1 on May 11th '85.

This has been "transfered/downloaded" onto CD, and sold as an audio bootleg.

And I think that bootleg has been incorrectly sold as "Last Stand" also.
"Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make."
"Luckily, and this is a world-wide first, Queen have decided to save you the trouble and the risk, by Bootlegging the Bootleggers! "

ahum...the worldwide first eh,?

what should we call the frank zappa Beat the boots series then? back in what was it 1989? about 10 or 15 albums with artwork for what, 7 euro or so.

please qp / qol stop making fools out of yourselves, and release more of those lovely dvd's like milton keynes that i bought today and enjoyed like hell!
This really sucks!!!

The bootleggers had to find the recordings and then sell them. All what QP did was buy the bootlegs and sell them. Why does a company that has all concerts in soundboard quality release bootlegs!?!?! Fuckers!!!!

I'm very dissapointed. Guess if I'm gonna buy anything...
Not those are losers who fall, but those who don't stand up.
Even in my most cynical moments I could not envisage QP even considering the possibility of entertaining the merest hint of the thought of just charging people for the bootlegs they already have.

I was wrong. Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. Unbelievably wrong (in that I still can't believe it's true, even after listening with my own ears to the proof).

This is insane.
What a rip off, I can't believe it! The sheer nerve to sell such low quality material and claim it's some kind of "service" for the fans. Aren't the "experts" Dutch bootleggers, at least two of them?

What annoys me most is the fact that it will be the poor and uninformed fans who will be the victims of this "service". The smarter fans use file sharing and don't pay anything
I do not want any google ads here.
The only one i maybe should download is the complete soundboard recording of Houston 1977
If they were shows from the archive, I'd pay £9.99.

Probably. Sticking some reasonable artwork on would make it more likely, and making it an un-bootlegged show would make it a certainty.
I wonder if they let people pay for bootlegquality versions first and then in 6 months time, when they earned enough money, roll out the concerts from the archives "now available - soundboard recordings!".....
The worst quote I found to be was "The Queen audio archive contains many complete official concert recordings which all may one day see the light of day"
Thanks for dangling that in front of our noses!
And they will be put out when?? After they make cash on the 100th bootleg they put up.
This is just a brutal idea.
Why wouldn't they have spent the time to mix the soundboards and put out worthwhile releases.
That would make them a hell of a lot more money. But of course it's easier and cheaper to use already prepared bootlegs and throw them on the internet.
Deacon Fan... Revisited: "For what it's worth, they've announced that the price was wrong.. they're actually 5 pounds each..."

So it worked! According to GB (I can't find the exact quote but it was along the lines of "QZ was insignificant... 0.000001% of the total Queen community) but within a few hours - and a few mails on THIS site - it seems that they have had a change of heart.

Is it more than a coincidence?

If it is...

It's still not f*cking good enough!
"Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make."
lets bitch some more, fuck the bootlegs, soundboard is what is needed
MY GOD spell it write.
What do u think bros? Not good enough?

An MP3 is 128kb; that must sounds better than the sample. What do u think?

Remember, they never offer anything different - but boots.

But...Yes: QP, we wanna (and deserve) better things than this!
The Bigger & the Better...in everything.
Shame on Queen Production! You're doing anything for your fans, you're just offending those who know enough to understand that all you're selling is pure CRAP!

You just think about money making, though we are "serving" you so well along the years... I wonder when all this will stop: brian may talking about orbs on his site, queen official archivist offending fans on a pubblic forum, qp (probably buying and) selling bad quality worse copies than the ones they already own...
When is all this shame gonna end? In days like these, it seems like our beloved Freddie left us 100 years ago...
