John, I'm not sure if you know about this, but there was a extended version of "We Will Rock You" video from Live Aid broadcast on VH2 last Saturday (30th October). Not sure if its official or not but all it consisted of was the performance up to the guitar solo, but instead of ending there it went back to the start of the performance. The visuals then changed to instead of being Queen, it showed every other band that was on both the UK and USA bills that day.

Are you sure that Trent Reznor did an unreleased remix of "Get Down, Make Love"?
The only version I know is the cover version which he recorded with his band Nine Inch Nails (4:17, B-side of the single "Sin", 1990). It includes a few samples from Queen's GDML and WWRY.

Also, what about the pepsi promotional Enhanced CD of the Britney, Beyonce And Pink version of WWRY, which, according to the blurb, says that Brian did both Bass and lead guitars, Roger did the drums and backing vocals was supplied by Queen (from the original version), Suzie Webb and Zoe Nicholas?
This was part of a 7 track CD which also included the TV advert and a behind the scenes of the advert.
Also, what about the pepsi promotional Enhanced CD of the Britney, Beyonce And Pink version of WWRY, which, according to the blurb, says that Brian did both Bass and lead guitars, Roger did the drums and backing vocals was supplied by Queen (from the original version), Suzie Webb and Zoe Nicholas?

No - but I thought we had settled this. No coloured vinyls, pic discs or fan remixes - just the music only.
As the "Sun" frebbie was a bad (half) edit of the BBC version - in effect if you own the full BBC you have the "Sun" version also.
The question is should this edit be included in it's own right? I guessed no - but I suppose it could be argued - it should. (I mean it is a legitimate release). Those WITHOUT the "Sun" disc are not really missing anything - are they? That's why it was consciously omitted.

Good question - Again, I was going to put this under the 2004 section - but it could as easily fit in here I guess. (BTW - you can now obtain this CD as a non-promo item).
Sometimes with these sort of misc tracks - it is possible to fit them into more than one category - but I personally think that a 2004 section would be a more logical place to include these.
However, I do appreciate the contribution, and I well accept that I may be wrong on this one.
I also think that it doesn't really matter if I am right or wrong - providing the track IS covered SOMEWHERE, and it IS catalogued, and I assure that it will be mentioned at a later stage.
I hope this does not create some sort of confussion, or unholy war! What do you think?

Lester: Batteries Not Included. It was either a John Deacon, or a Brian May track. I honestly think it was one of John's though.
