I've heard that in the last moments, Freddie used to record almost everything that Brian and Roger and even Freddie writed for him in order to leave as many recorded songs as he could. Some of these songs featured in Innuendo and Made in Heaven albums but most of them remain unissued. Do you people know something about this songs? There will be an upcoming album?

'Mother Love' was last recorded by Freddie track -at september 1991, probably. The rest of recorded stuff, even if it doesn't feature on MIH, wouldn't be released, I guess.

There are no more 'final sessions songs'! Anything that was of use hás been used. All that remains are tons of add lips, but no songs!

Freddie isn't dead, it's all just a big publicity stunt. He's just chilling on an deserted island somewhere, surrounded by gay guys with moustaches :)

'I'm not sure. I'm really not sure!' (c) David Bowie.

It was Freddie's last recording song and his las recording sessions in Montreux were at September 1991, so...

I remeber reading an article about the "Mother love" recording session. Can't remember the page it was on. But it said Freddie was very very weak at the point of recording it and only could come to the studio when he used pain reliever. He could only sing for about an hour. I remember I was very impressed by the lines that said that he was missing an powerful part in the song, so he started singing the part "Out in the city..." with all the power and emotion that was left in him.
Freddie promised to finish this track later because he felt bad. He went back to London. And never did it back again to Montreux because he died a week later. So "Mother love" was indeed recorded in October/November 1991. Brian had to sing the last verses because there was no more Freddie....

'These are the days of our lives' was filmed at 31st May 1991 (footages with Fred/Roger/John), so 'Mother Love' was recorded not less than 3 months after it.

I remember reading a quote by David Richards saying that Freddie recorded his last vocal in Montreux and flew to London the following day. Then he heard about his death a couple of weeks later so that would date Freddie's last recording around early November 1991 (Which is TRULY amazing, btw).

Does anyone remember this quote?
