Why is it so bloody difficult to decide when Mother Love was recorded? Lots of people name lots of different dates. I'm not talking about fans now, but about what Queen people have said in interviews. Same thing with the shooting of TATDOOL.
This variety of information gives birth to a lovely conspiracy theory: Freddie isn't dead. He recorded that song at some point after 1991 and the guys don't remember anymore what they lied. Only joking.
I also can't understand why there are so many different versions of who actually was in the room with Freddie when he died.

I always thought Let Me Live was the last one because he sang a lot of Mother Love (with Brian doing the last bit) and very little of Let Me Live (with Brian and Roger doing quite a bit of bit). That's how I always thought that was the last one. We all have different theories and that was just mine.

I'm sure the bit with Made In Heaven was a typo. Brian most probably referred to A Winter's Tale, which is generally regarded as being the last song Freddie ever wrote (not counting his co-writing credit on ML).
I think some of you are so full of shit. Especially the fools that feel the need to use this forum to bash Freddie and make there stupid ass gay jokes. I could careless wheather he was recording his last songs in May or November of 1991. All that matters is that he rocked like no other Frontman of a band ever has and now he is gone. Who cares about a few recordings lingering around when he was dying. The man left you with 25 fucking albums to enjoy so talk about that..........Peace out

i thought that they didn't record a whole song, but every time freddie was in they recorded a bit of a song and then he left.
And if i'm correct there it was told that a winters tail was the last he recorded, i think it was told at the FM momerial in Montreux the first time.

Okay, let me give you the information you can get with only using official Queen sources (documentaries, official homepage etc):
Days of Our lives video was filmed in May 1991: Last portrait of Freddie, which can be seen in the book of Freddie Solo Collection is commented with date of picture: 30th May, 1991.
(NB: Brian's footage was filmed later, since he was in the USA promoting Innuendo then)
Let Me Live was recorded in 1982 (originally with lyrics that sounded too much like an Aretha Franklin song).
Mother Love contains Freddie's last vocals recorded in studio.
Winter's Tale is Freddie's last written song to be recorded and published.
Btw, when Richards said Fred died a couple of weeks after his last recordings, it can ALSO mean months. 12 weeks are also a couple of weeks.

Why shouldn't they all sing one song? Action This day is also a duet and comes from the same sessions. If you listen to the interview on the On Fire DVD they say that they had a lot of time and discarded many songs.

Mother Love is when I know the May 22, 1991 Freddie was so ill that he had to shoot on and off parts of filming in the summer and autumn of 1991
