couldn't have said it better

Wembley for me. The stage and lighting is better but Freddie is so cool in MK! The part where he sits on the piano is great!

Both are awesome performances, but we should remember there's a gap in-between when things in Freddie's life were starting to change, for him health-wise. Four years is four years, and things happen -- like getting older! But I considered him in fine form in both, though he was a lot more active in the MK concert. I can't get over the use of the right leg...stomping all the time, reminding me of a horse!

MK because Wembley was released 12 years ago. I'm tired of listening to it.

MK because queen weren't stringing out the hits. We have improved and queen-worthy versions of Back Chat, Staying Power, and Action this Day. We also finally get an official CD version of Somebody To Love, live.

MK because Freddie's voice was at its peak.

MK had queen as a working band, but Wembley encaptured their Royalty, mega-production, 72000 filled-to-capacity, sell-out extravangaza, robe-wearing, ego-bearing Freddie-fucking-Mercury.

God Save The Queen!

(Just had to get that out of my system, heard the CD for the 4th time in a row and can't wait for the DVD to come out this Tuesday in Montreal!)

It surprised me how good they where during Live AID. The crowd (not all Queen fans) went totally crazy. Super!!
I got to try al little more, because I'm an asshole but I'm learning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfTLkUcQ7QY

I knew MK only from my poor-quality vhs tape, and I didn't like this gig. But when I watched this for the first time on dvd, I realized how wrong I was. You don.t need a 100000 people to make a good show. You don't need 100000 lights to make a good show, but you need a band focused on giving their best . And they did. Freddie is full of energy. You can feel fun they had on every single song. ActionTT was discovery for me. Vocals are great there. I love dark, heavy version of AnotherOBTT.
Today I have bigger fun watching MK then Wembley. But I remember a impression wembley dvd made on me.
I want it all

MK by a million miles. Why ? because the sound is much better and the performance is much better. Wembley is crap, Freds voice is the worst it was on the tour, and Bri's guitar needed a damm good set-up as the fretbuzz on the E A & D strings is shocking which is not helped by that aweful high treble 'glassy' sound he had for some reason on that day.

Prefer to watch Wembley with the sound off.

And another thing, how can people say that Freds voice was in the best shape ever at MK when it is clearly better at Montreal '81.
I love you for your mind baby give me your body.

Fuck Wembley. Knebworth is better.
My words, my words... :)
Performance @ MK is far better tahn @ Wembley- that was really bad... And the abnd is so tight- which is not the case @ Wembley... Even when they made mistakes at MK- they got away with them with a great ease... C';mon- that's one of the better concerts they have ever played!!! Wembley isn't- it's on eof the worse gigs during Magic Tour... Stage? Who gives a s**t about stage- I though it was music that counted...
AND setlist... Too many radio hits @ Wembley- how many times can I listen to Ga-Ga or IWTBF...

PS
One more thing- guitar sound @ Wembley is absolutely CRAP!!! @ Milton- it's awesome...

freds voice was not crap on wembly far from it, he stuggled more than usual, but some of the notes he hit for that show were simply amazing for a rock singer, check out in the lap of the gods, still gives me chills. but all around MK he had better range and brian was great in both.

Milton Keynes. So far, at least. I haven't finished watching the concert yet, but already, it's better than Wembley for me. Freddie's got so much more enthusiasm, his voice is in better shape, and the rest of the band just seems tighter. Wembley was great, but I prefer Milton Keynes. Plus, Milton Keynes has a more interesting setlist. It's nice to hear all the Hot Space tracks that aren't usually featured, instead of being more about the hits, like Wembley is. Though I do kind of miss the rock n' roll medley that isn't on Milton Keynes.
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

What was the exact attendance number of MK show? And was it free entry or not?
The Show Must Go On Till The End Of Time

it's got to be wembley for me too

this set list is superior and the way the band played was as if they knew it was going to be the last tour!!!

Because your post was under mine...
I said guitar sound on Wembley was crap- not Fred's voice... I can't stand it- takes all the pleasure away from me... His voice was just avarage (for his standards mean- not really good)- there were good moments and there were bad ones...

between the two, milton keynes because of the setlist - it features lesser known "album" tracks and greatest hits 1 tracks which didn't make it to wembley nor are as widely known to the average joe bloggs on the street who may be a casual queen fan (Somebody To Love, Fat Bottomed Girls, Play The Game, Save Me)

MK!!!
I'll get the DVD today, but the CD kicks ass.
Somebody to Love and FBG makes it all worth while.
Everything else is gold dust on a gold bar.

...don't get me wrong, Wembley is still great.
You just can't beat the reasonably priced mosquito repellant OFF.
