in wembley freddie didn' sing so bad.i believe on the 1st wembley night he was bad(really bad)but in the second he was quite good.i think in budapest he was really in shape and in montreal too.briian guitar at wembley is stunning but roger makes a lot of mistakes(i.e. now i'm here)

Wembley is still better to me, but I can see why so many people are "hungry" for more releases other than just Wembley.
The problem is that we've seen Wembley so many times, that we've grown tired of it. Sure the setlist had too many hits, but I think they particularly decided to pick hits for 'The Magic Tour' was because a lot of the people who were attending the shows of that particular tour were not necessarily hard-core Queen fans.
And for those who say that Wembley was crap, do you really think it was THAT BAD? Freddie's voice wasn't at it's best (It wasn't his fault), but as always he gave the best of himself. And as for Brian's guitar parformance, could you guys explain why it was so awful? You guys are putting Queen on the Ashlee Simpson performance level. Seriously, once again I think you guys should spend more time on message boards for other bands that this one.
I still think their worst release has to be 'We Will Rock You - Montreal 81', and it had nothing to be with the band's performance. The crowd was awfully boring, and the sound quality was quite poor.
Overall, their best performance I've ever seen on video was Budapest '86.

I prefer Wembley much more, especially for the tracklist, which covers a larger period (from Seven Seas and Lap Of The Gods to A Kind of Magic/Friends Will Be Friends/Who Wants To Live Forever - Somebody To Love instead of Another One Bites The Dust and it would have been perfect!). And then also for the guitar arrangements (the guitar on the live version of I Want To Break Free is brilliant), and then also for the huge stage!
Each concert is unique, but what are you saying about the sound...? Brian himself said they had problems with sound in MK, without remember when the Red Special turns off... Anyway I love LOML and ITLOTG performance at Wembley. By the way, does anybody know where the image of the MK cover matches in the concert???

Love them both but it seems like there is no interaction between the band at MK unlike Wembley where there is alot of interaction. It almost seems like they are mad at each other at MK.

it's a hard choice for me. i think freddie's voice was at it's live peak at MK and also i like the song selection, but what i like about wembly is the crowd, i never seen such a beloved band in my life, the crowd was great. don't get me wrong, i think the performance at wembly was also great, and they were older and had more of a sense of humor. check out john deacon and roger talyor laughing at freddie during the cover tunes, when fred put on that military hat, i get a kick out of watching john laugh at his buddy. so for me it's pretty even, but performance wise i might give to milton keynes.

I would love to see an official DVD released of the "Earls Court" and "The Rainbow" concerts - there was an unofficial release of the Rainbow conert (on satellite TV around the early 90's).
For me, the Wembley concert is better, but thats purely for the setlist and the production that went into the DVD of Wembley 86.

I think that MK bowl is Freddie's better performing concert. Although the songs aren't the best when done in the studio, i think they're fantastic when done live.
But then again Wembly isn't without it's charm. As a matter of fact i'm gonna watch it rite now. bye.

Even the fans seemed more into it at MK than Wembley. But then again it could have beeen a more mature crowd at Wembley. Their performance of Bo Rhap and LOML were better at Wembley. Freddie's sing along with the audience was better at MK.
