MK has the superior setlist overall- eg Dragon Attack, Somebody To Love, Fat Bottomed Grls and Play The Game whereas Wembley had too many safe pop hits like I Want To break free and Friends Will Be Friends- I would have like to have seen Somebody To Love or FBG at Wembley- they would have been great.
However Wembley is better. I don't buy this idea about Fred's voice being stronger at M. It may have been rougher by Wembley but he belts out Tie Your Mother Down with a lot more strength than he did at MK. Also, the sheer scale and power is far superior at Wembley, as is the atmosphere. One senses that fred treaded on egg shelkls when talking about the Hot Space material at the Bowl.

I don't think you can compare them, MK was filmed by channel 4 TV to be broadcast as a Tube special in 1982, whereas Wembley was alegedly filmed with a video release planned. I think this also explains why the camera angles seem better thought out.
MK spends more time playing the classics with the occasional Hot Space track thrown in (4 tracks), Wembley seems to concentrate more on The Works and A Kind of Magic (9 tracks) with the occasional classic track thrown in.
They both have their merits and their drawbacks, and both show off the talents of the band at different stages of their performing careers.

Wembley sucked. As a long time Queen fan I have to say that because it does. Freddie's voice doesn't have the "omph" in it. Even at the beginning of the show, "One Vision" sounds really dry. In contrast at MK his fresh, pliable voice almost feel wasted on the hero. I don't like the setl;ist that much at Wembley either. The old rock and roll covers they do just don't do it for me even though I think it is a throwback to their early performances. The sad part is Wembley is Queen's most famous concert to casual fans and it's still highly respected and leave them knowing that Queen is one of the best live bands ever.

I Think MK was the better gig, but if you are talking about, "value for money" of the DVD packages, It's got to be wembley, with all the multi angle shots, I love to watch it with the "Brian" Camera. plus all the other extras.

The band are miles better and more together at Milton Keynes - they seems like a proper hard working rock 'n' roll band, whereas at Wembley they seem more distant and more like a stadium rock band & they don't seem as rehearsed or "warmed up" at Wembley. The MK setlist is more pleasing too.
Man I can't choose! lol I liked the songs bettter at Milton Keyes though, but I liked the way the songs were in order better at Wembeley.

This is my feeling, as well.
it's a hard choice for me. i think freddie's voice was at it's live peak at MK and also i like the song selection, but what i like about wembly is the crowd, i never seen such a beloved band in my life, the crowd was great. don't get me wrong, i think the performance at wembly was also great, and they were older and had more of a sense of humor. check out john deacon and roger talyor laughing at freddie during the cover tunes, when fred put on that military hat, i get a kick out of watching john laugh at his buddy. so for me it's pretty even, but performance wise i might give to milton keynes.
