'Don't Stop Me Now', 1979...

not really any song in particular. when i was a kid my mam had the greatest hits on tape, recorded from my uncles original vinyl. my older sister started to listen to it. to be honest, at that age hearing something like that when all you've heard is pop and radio, i thought it was pooh. But as i got older and listened to it more i grew to love it!
so for me GH1

i knew of a few queen songs growing up, but the main one that got me was Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy

I will never forget how struck I was when I heard "Killer Queen" and "Bo Rhap" unexpectedly for the first time...since then I've listened to them too many times to count...I never tire of listening to them everyday. :)

i had heard OF bo rap, but never really heard the song through. and obviously WWRY and Champions, but the songs which made me a fan was Dont Stop Me Now and Seven Seas of Rhye. i loved those songs. then i listened to killer queen, fat bottomed girls (gave me hope!) and others on greatest hits, i became a real fan...then i bought all their CDs *guilty smile*

It was Seaside Rendezvous to make me like them - and only a few minutes later, Good Company got me totally hooked. When I heard BoRhap (immediately after it, twas on my ANATO vynil), I already was one of the biggest fans.
I've been loving them for more than 2 yrs, which is a very short time for those of you who are fans since the 70s, but I never had any passion to last that long. It's a disease, but I don't really wanna be cured... ever!

It wasn't a queen song I heard first time I begin to LOVE Queen, it was the solo album from Freddie Mercury called Mr Bad Guy, funny thing, but it's true:)

I was raised on queen's music, and never really thought about it as being made by real people - it was, to use a cliche, the soundtrack to my early life. Then as I grew up I looked for new things and 'grew out' of Q. Then sometime around the late eighties somebody who didn't know my current tastes gave me a video for my birthday. It was Queen live in Montreal 1979. And that was that. I was blown away - again. And I realized that real music doesn't go away, or go out of fashion, and that charisma and talent go beyond age and trends. Then Innuendo was released and when I saw the video on TV for the first time, it hit me the same way Bo Rap must have done when I was a kid. Then Freddie died...

I want to break free, back in 1990 when I was five. I saw the IWTBF video and got totally hooked. They're making my life more beautiful for about 15 years, and hope they will as long as I live:)

Another One Bites the Dust, wore out many 45's of that single, as well as many needles on my record player.. and then seeing them LIVE in 1980 in Detroit Michigan.... that was the final nail in the coffin.. I have been hooked since..

I remember I liked the "Innuendo" video when I was a kid. But I haven't really listened to music then. Of course I remember Freddie's death - everybody talked about it then. But I became Queen's fan a few years later. I guess it was 1995 when I heard their "Greatest Hits II" compilation. It made a big impression on me. Then I listened to "GH1" and I was hooked. I loved "Another One Bites The Dust" (and I still do).
