I dont understand why people dislike Queen 80's so much!?:S it was in the 80's Queen really seld records, had HUGE concerts and was one of the musicindustries MOST popular band!!

I'm astounded this many people have said they prefer 80s Queen. I really am. How can you prefer their synth heavy pop rock of albums like AKOM to multi-tracked harmonized albums like Queen 2? Rock ceased to exist in the 80s in general and especially with Queen. Even if you don't like rock, how can you prefer their softer songs/ballads of the 80s to those that were made in the previous decade. Teo toriatte or just one year of love? I know which one I'd go for.

i LOVE all Queen!!! ALL MUSIC ALL CONCERTS, ALL ERA'S(Barring the ebarrasing things brian & roger are doing in the name of Queen)
nothing to do with their music but i will just have to mention:
they were more groomed in the 80's
but i loved freddies long hair and black nails in the 70's
i think the 70's would hav to be it for me. raw queen.
freddie was dying in the 80's so it sort of puts a downer on things (sorry freddie)
