That's a tragedy!
What annoys me most is that they keep repeating in the news "3 Germans may have died"
So what? Over 20.000 people were killed!!!
So sad...

It's only natural - you are watching German TV, they will want to report on their own citizens first. I am sure they are not detracting from the enormity of the tragedy because of it.
2 people me and my parents know were on holiday there. Don't know whether they're okay or not. They probably are though i hope.
Actually here in the US, they said there may be 6 people dead from the US

No i'm fine Linda. I don't know them really well i just know them if you know what i mean. Thanks though. I'm sure there okay. I'll know soon because one of thems my mums friends husband so my mum will tell me as soon as she speaks to her friend. Thats if she even knows! There more my mums friends than mine. I just know them. My mum will be more upset than me because i dont know em as well as her. Did you get my email earlier. The email with the France tickets for the tour? How are you then Linda. I've just got a new fleece to keep me warm when i go out during winter. It's all fluffy inside.

I know how you must feel, I had an online friend that I used to chat with everyday for over 2 years, he was on the first plane to hit the World Trade Center on 9-11-01, I didn't know about it until I got an email from his parents, they had gone into his email account and was telling everyone. I was devastated, I had JUST sent him a package of Queen tapes, he was heading home and they would have been there for him. his parents asked me if I wanted them back and I told them no, do what you want with them, they were his. :(

When my Mum worked for Customs & Excise, she had to escort a man onto a flight because he was being deported - it was Pan Am flight 102 that crashed in Lockerbie.
May God bless those victims of such an awful tragedy, and let's pray that they those death toll numbers won't keep raising, while the international community will arrive soon for humanitarian help.

it was very hard for a while, We were supposed to meet at the next Queen Fan club convention in 2002.. that was the main reason I didnt go to that one, you never think about things like that happening, I mean I can never imagine it.. but it did, and the worse thing about it was we were chatting 2 hours before his flight.. he was in the airport using his new laptop.. :(
you Never really get over it, and there are nights where I cry, not acutally bawl or anything, but I shed a few tears. he was a good guy, and he LOVED Queen, its not fair that assholes like Saddam are allowed to live, while innocent people die.
His parents were very nice about it, I sent them some money.. back when I actually made it. :)

I agree. It isn't at all fair. It's A Hard Life. I'm not having a very good time at the moment because i've fallen out with both my parents over nothing. Nothing at all. My dad woke up in a mood and has just gone to bed in a mood. Because i dont want to watch a film now and want to come on to QZ my sisters had a go at me. When stuff like this happens it really fucking pisses me off. I feel like no one likes me and everythings my fault. Or thats what my parents say. And i never do anything at all sometimes. Hopefully tomorrow they'll be happy and would have forgotten about it.
