Also on this one! AND that they had about 8000 entries... But that might not be the same amount as that there will be 'allocsated to fans'...
Cliffhowell, if the number of 4000 tickets is an official announcement, that makes me think.
Under "live concert" you find the following on the Brixton Academy website.
"Due to the recent refurbishments The Academy now has a capacity of 4921"
This means that 900 tickets, roughly 1 out of 5, are not allocated to the fans. The question remains if these are sold to non-fans or if every 5th ticket is a freebie...

Yeah, basically the post on the other forum confirmed the other tickets are freebie's to the press, the band, promotor, etc, etc.
Well, if that is true, it's quite an act of hypocrisy to announce a concert "for the fans only" and make it look like a generous gift when in fact the most faithful fans are paying for the free rides of the band guests with overpriced tickets.

I have just got an email from the fc stating that I haven't won in the lottery BUT there are lots of worldwide winners who may not take there tickets so still have a chance in the second draw which is based on where your named was drawn in the first round!?!
