I've read on a French site that their relationship "ended in tears' when Mary caught Freddie while "cleaning the house" with eddie, their house cleaner. Don't know if this is true.
On the other hand, flash000, did you count all Freddie's lovers, in order to know he had as many chicks as guys? Please do give me the exact number of his male and female lovers, I'm really desperate to know it :)

I do agree...if Jim was being 100% honest in his book (and what reason has he to not be?) it seems as though Mary may have been a little harsh on him. I mean, Jim lost the love of his life too, you know? Why did Mary feel the need to be kinda selfish? I really don't think Jim was out for Freddie's money but just to keep a piece of his memory alive with him. I mean, for cryin out loud, Jim put so much time and effort into building and refurnishing all those things to Garden Lodge. He should have had some say in how things turned out in the end, which I think Freddie allotted to Jim, but Mary sidestepped it.
But I guess we can't judge unless we know the entire situation and take into account everybody's feelings during that particular time. We will never know...

But Mary was a loving kind-hearted lady to Freddie so we can't blame on her either I guess considering the aweful circumstances surrounding Freddie's death. So...why don't we forget about it and accept that "to err is human, to forgive is devine."
