1975: I heard Bohemian Rhapsody on the radio...

One song, just shy of 6 minutes, changed my life.

Been a Queen fan from that day til now!

When Freddie came to me in a dream in late April 1992. Till then I had liked and listened to Queen secretly because my brother loved them and I didn't want to admit I liked them too...So silly of me.

saw the fredie mercury tribute concert. loved the music.hooked ever since.

I watched a brief queen documentury on some channel(cant't really remember which!). All I remember thinking is 'wow, these guys are incredible,' and thats pretty much it.

was just after freddie died i suppose, there was alot of concerts and docu's on tv and tunes played on the radio. had come into a bit money and went out and bought live at wembley 86 twin tape. live killers , the miracle and few others, then seen the tribute concert and have been hooked big style ever since.

I became a fan when I bought A Day At The Races on cd at my uncle's garage sale.I knew about them but not too much and I really liked the cover.That was 1997 and I've been rocking to Queen ever since.

I heard Another One Bites the Dust and I was hooked.

When I was eleven, we did a school play about a class that competed in a singing contest and won. In the end of the play we all sang WATC with Queen. I loved that song from the first time I heard it. During rehearsals for the play we used to listen a lot to GH1, so I heard some other great tunes too, such as Bicycle Race. Later I found out that "the song played at every ice hockey match" also was by Queen.

One year later I bought GH1 & GH2. SO it all started with WATC, that I still think is the best song ever together with TSMGO.

it was when I first heard the Sheer Heart Attack album on WYSP and WMMR in Philly...

immediately loved what I heard...

soon after they came to the Tower Theatre and I talked my parents into letting me go.... it was then I was thouroughly hooked.....

In November 1973 I went to see Mott The Hoople in Worcester UK. The warm up band came on and .... well the rest is history.

Secondry school english class when i was 14 a friend of mine was listening to the Innuendo album at i just got hooked from there.
i went on to drum queen into a friend of mine which wnded with him also becoming a fan.

The fact i like Queen amuses my aunt immensely as i fist saw queen in the video for a kind of magic back in 1986/87 and hated them calling them a bunch of poofs what can i say i had absolutely no musical taste back then as i was only 6.

When I saw highlander on TV, I liked the sound track and wanted to know if ther were other songs like that. So I listened to other songs and albums and ever since then, Queen was my favourite! :-)

Good topic here....I underwent a slow process of becoming a Queen fan over a good portion of the year 1992....I believe it was all the retrospectives and such that were aired on tv following Freddie'd death, and of course seeing the Tribute concert on TV as well.......and around the same time, seeing Flash Gordon on cable (ah-ahh!).......after all that, I started buying albums.....well, tape casettes those days.....Classic Queen, Greatest Hits (Hollywood version), NOTW, Queen II (still one of my favorites), and Live Killers.....
