There really should be no question about principles here. It's not the same crest, so where are Brian and Roger stealing? Using this type of crest is projecting their name, Queen, quite well, because it is a "royal" crest.

The one thing that struck me about this redesigned tour logo at this late hour is the symbolic difference in size between the large word QUEEN and very small words 'Paul Rodgers.' Indicative of an emphatic power play won by our boys.

I'm sorry, but I doubt any of you know what Freddie's real opinion would be. He probably would've liked the idea of his old band mates still using his art work years later. I would be quite chuffed.
Freddie's Queen logo makes me think Ferrari, the new logo seems Trans Am-ish. Which is not bad at all if you soup up the engine and give it a targa roof and take out the 8-track and put in a cd player. And spinner rims and custom leather interior, y'all know what I mean, just please pimp this ride Brian Roger Paul!
I think it's good that they've changed it, because it shows that they're not kidding themselves into thinking they're Queen. After all, the original logo had symbols for all 4 members, and now two of them aren't there so of course it's not Queen and I think it's nice that they've kept the idea of the logo but changed it accordingly. I'm not really sure if I support the whole thing so far, but this is a good step to converting me!
