I know that The Beatles are the Beatles but Queen is what rules after that not the Rolling Stones who built their fame on drugs and scandals. Queen and The Beatles are on the same league- Sheer song quality!

I saw Def Leppard in 1984. They were the worst live act I have ever seen, and their songs were attrocious.
To think you could put Queen below a juvinile band such as DL leaves me shaking my head...

The Beatles were brilliant. And as Ozzy Osbourne said "saying you don't like The Beatles is like saying you don't like air".
However, I disagree with the first statement in this topic. No person can tell you that one band is better than another. It's just an opinion. I believe the better band all round is Queen. I like some early Beatles stuff but alot of it is abit naff now. It's after about '65 when they truly became great. With Queen, there isnt an album the I don't like something on. But I also think Led Zeppelin are better than The Beatles.

Led Zeppelin is one million times better than all other bands(more hits, record sales, fans, copy cats and they f*cking started the Heavy Metal genre). Best singer, guitarist, drummer ever!!!!!!!!!!! and JPJ was a amazing bassist as well. Queen, yeah right, they bite the dust too. LED ZEPPELIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the beatles are only regarded as the greatest band by the press!! where are the beatles when theres radio poll's and newspaper poll's its always queen. the press have alway hated queen and championed the 4 over rated mop-tops. the beatles were basicaly a boy band of there day.
The Beatles were the FIRST band to write and perform their own songs.
Ever heard of Chuck Berry? Little Richard? Buddy Holly and the Cricketts? Don't get me wrong, I like the Beatles alot, but they were far from being the first band to write their own material.
