Also, I dont see how the fan club is gonna help us so much, I agree with Lisser, we need to be on the good side of Paul =-) I'm sure he could help us much more then the fan club in UK

Y'all want me to bake him some brownies? I've already offered him dinner at the Waffle House for some info, but that didn't work..;-)

You crack me up! I heard Paul's keen on shepherd's pie and my husband being from England could whip some up for him...maybe that'll get him on our good side... ;)

Shepherd's pie... Why is everything over there either fried or in a pastry shell?
Q
Yes...good question Erin...yorkshire pudding, shepherd's pie, fish and chips...one reason why I couldn't live over there for too long or else I'd gain about 50 lbs! But apparently our Paul and Brian and Roger keep fit by strutting around the stage..hey...whatever works, huh?! ;)

The irony is, over there they think we are worse because of all the fast food and restuarants.;-)

With the exchange rate my tickets for the UK shows were 110.00 dollars including fees per show.

I agree I hope they don't charge more than that-since they have not toured over here in over 20 years. But as a point of reference over the past few years.

KISS/Aerosmith 125
Paul McCartney 175
Def Leppard 50
Rush 62
Bad Company/Peter Frampton/Journey $65
Styx/Billy Squire $60
Duran Duran'05 $75.00
TobyKeith/Ted Nuegent $60.00
Chicago/Earth Wind Fire $70.00

But aren't we getting ahead of ourselves? We don't even know if they are even coming over here!! ;-)

I know back in 1994, Pink Floyd were $35 to $70. The band fought to have prices reasonable as they were touring with a new record rather than behind old songs. Styx are now has-beens seeing that rhey canned Dennis DeYoung from the band.

I think all the bands that have been mentioned in comparing ticket prices with what Queen + PR might be were all more popular in the States than Queen was. Queen was not very popular. Although many people liked WWRY, WATC, and Borhap, they did not like the band Queen.

Sad but true. Erin, I'll take the shed but can you please get all spiders and snakes out first? Save them for Geeks!!!!!

;)

Queen were huge from 1976 to 1981 in the US. Hot Space was the beginning of the banishing of Queen in the US!

I don't need to kiss Paulie's toes...I'm already on his good side. Yeah-yeah! ;^)

Glad to hear this news...I'm going to start saving up with my next paycheck!

I live in Los Angeles, and I think that the prices will be based on where they play. I think over here in the US they might play arenas that can hold about 10,000-15,000. My bet is that the max price for front row would probably about $85. Queen are getting popular again here in the states but there not that popular again yet to charge more than $100 per ticket.
Darling, Im not going to be a rockstar, Im going to be a LEGEND!!

THE tix will be expensive 50-100 are here's why:
In the US, Queen were a 70's band. All of the people who liked them in the 70's are now 40-50 years old aka middle aged. These people usually have steady jobs with steady incomes and enough extra money to buy those tix.

yes-us 40 somethings are a promoters dream--we will pay big bucks to hear good old fashion rock-n-roll!! Sad but true ;-) Oh well we only live once and well..my daughter is not getting all of my annual bonus for college ;-)

I think the tickets will be between $45-$85. gah I hope they play Riverbend in Cincinnati. It's an outdoor setting on the river. One of Jimmy Buffet's favorite places!!!

Allie, I want to kiss Paul's tootsies anyway!! I just needed an excuse to be able to, he keeps telling me I'm not his type but I refuse to take no for an answer!

I agree...ticket prices will depend on venue.I also think they'll look at ticket sales from the past to decide where they had the biggest following in the past...Good Point with the 40-50 yr. old pick pocketing.I need to start saving now especially since I live in Indiana,my guess is that that means I'll be traveling and sleeping by the garbage cans...so please don't kick me and wake me till its time for the concert....If I figure out a trick I'll be sure and share it with my fellow Queen fans on here.Toodles.see ya there
