Hmm... If that report is based on fact, I'm guessing they are talking about Brian. He seems to have been the one worried about how the tour would affect his life - particularly going to the US where it's not easy to pop back home.

If I'm right, lets hope Roger can pull something out of the bag again - like another premature announcement (!) - to persuade him otherwise.

Maybe though they just aren't getting such an enthusiastic response from the US promoters as they got from the European ones.

I know obviously they have every right to change their minds, but what do you guys think? Do you believe that quote about the cousin who works with the WWRY people in Vegas about one member getting cold feet about it? I mean it's been announced to VH1, on Brian's site, and on that pre-tour interview on the Q+PR site that it was so very likely...

I'm not sure what to think? Anyone???

This bothers me, although I don't give it much credit due to its second (or third) hand nature. Even if a BIG tour isn't something the guys are particularly enthusiastic about, why not play two weeks' worth of gigs in the major cities? That's better than nothing, and wouldn't require much of a commitment, time-wise.

Let's keep hoping...Why don't a few of us email Brian himself, too, and ask? He's wonderful about replying, most of the time.

Hmm...and I was starting to get slightly optimistic. Let's just hope this person was full of crap. I find it concerning that there has been no mention at all of any dates. Wish I'd been able to pop overseas like some of you guys..:-/ We gotta keep hope alive, though! ;-)

I'm going to see them in Birmingham, but I STILL won't feel totally comfortable until I'm actually IN Birmingham...I'm paranoid about making my connecting flight, of delays, etc...So yes, I'm going, but I'm still nervous! And I'd feel much less nervous if I knew they were coming to the US, just in case something doesn't work out. And, hell, I want to see them as many times as possible.

Greg and Erin...I know exactly how you're feeling!!! I was beginning to get exciting from all those reports about them ending up here in the fall and then when I read that last night about them being doubtful I got kind of down...hopefully that individual was full of crap. You're right Greg, just a 2-3 week tour of the major cities would be absolutely stellar...they don't need to go too crazy over here...maybe we should e-mail Brian...what do you think?

I think it would be a good idea, at least to get an idea of what we can expect. Brian's usually wonderful about replying (although the tour is obviously eating up much of his time!), so I'd imagine at least one of us will get a response. It might be a good idea to ask about the possibility of a short tour, at the very least.

Let's get to it and see what we can find out!

I totally don't expect some 20 city tour or anything. I don't expect them to come to SC..possibly Atlanta or Charlotte.. I'll travel, I have no problem with that. Just give us SOMETHING to go on! :-)
Greg, I'm sure the flights will turn out fine. You are sooo lucky..:-) I did my crazy travelling overseas thing to see Brian and Roger on their solo tours, but now that's not feasible. So..I'll cross my fingers...and toes..

I'm going to send a nice email to Brian later this afternoon and hope for the best...maybe a US tour update or something of the kind.

I just sent Brian a nice e-mail...quoting that snippet of information that upset us a little last night...I did suggest that if a long tour wasn't possible, how about a few gigs in the major US cities like Greg mentioned.

If I hear anything, I will surely keep you all posted...
