I am going to at least 3 US dates and will purchase tickets whenever they become available, once the tour schedule is announced. I am looking for people who are seriously interested in attending one or more dates. As Jackie and the Queen fan club will have almost no hand in setting up hotels/meals/etc. for fan club members, it will pretty much be up to us US fans to come up with iteneraries on our own. I'm more than capable of paying for the trip and its expenses on my own, but I figure it'll be much more cost-effective and fun to split costs with someone else. We could split the hotel cost, cab rides, whatever comes up. I think it'd be a lot of damn fun to attend the concert with someone who will equally appreciate it. Otherwise, I'd take my best friend (who, slowly but surely, may be getting excited about the tour). So, anyone with a serious interest, please email me. I don't know what it's like in Europe, but in the United States I'd say that Queen are very well liked by teenagers. I teach at a high school, and many of my students have heard Queen through their parents' music collections and they love the band. So, not only would a US tour draw the 35-50 year-olds, but they would also bring their children.

Well i live in Canada and its much the same. There are a lot of old die hard queen fans here, but there is a recent resurgence in New queen fans, i know I am one of them. I would pay anything to see them because ive never been able to see them live. I was six when Freddie died, so for me this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Yes, I'm a high school teacher in the States too, and when I let slip that I'm flying to Birmingham to see them next month, the general consensus among my students was that I'm a lucky bastard (not their exact wording!) -- and they said the same thing when I told them I saw Bowie last year. Believe me, Queen have a VERY solid fan base among the younger crowd these days.

I think a tour will do very well here -- and I'll going to as many concerts as I can possibly afford (and take off work for).

I have met quite a few people of the younger generation that are fans of Queen at the college I attend, too.

My sister and I have also discussed seeing more than one show. Hopefully we'll be able to afford it!

I have a feeling everyone might be suprised by Q+PR in the US. I think new "younger" fans that bought their first Queen album(usually Classic Queen or GH volume 1-1,000)many years after Freddie had gone are all over the place. Mix that together with the older fans from back in the day, I would bet very good turnouts, and $70 tickets or so. Dont forget that nowadays Queen's music is very well respected, which it wasnt, especially over here, back when they forgot about this country. All this, plus excellent momentum from the Europe tour...yes.

Hell, I dont care, Ill sell my car if I have too... I dont think Im alone.

When I went to see Paul McCartney I found that more than half of the audience were people who weren't even born when The Beatles broke up.

I don't care how expensive those tickets are, I'd even become a Chippendale dancer in order to get them (not like I have anything good to show... like Chris Farley)
