Roger's little interview was pure class, and the bit about 'you're my best friend' made my ears prick up too... the lady said: "and then you've got John Deacon being absolutely lovely singing you're my best friend" ...i think i'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was speaking metaphorically and meant that he wrote it 8-) lol

I woke up to seeing Queen on the list and then realised that they were 13th. "Okay", I thought, thinking that there must be some major classics ahead. Oasis????? Madonna?? Guns N' Roses????? I would never put any of their albums/works above a Queen one. Not even Hot Space should lose out to them!
And while I didn't think Ok Computer was a no.1 greatest album ever - I can recognise that it's a great album, being an on and off fan. But surely there's better? What the heck happened to Muse who were nowhere to be seen!?? Hearing their Absolution was on par with discovering Queen, for me. I too believe that these polls are always biased towards people's thoughts towards current records, like Brenski said. They need to stop doing these poll-type progs for a few years as they're getting more and more disappointing/ridiculous.

Radiohead... there really is no way to describe Radiohead--by the way, they originated in the early 90's, so don't call them kids...
They are basically really, really alternative. If you want to hear an extremely good one by Radiohead (not as alternative as they usually are), listen to 2+2=5. Trust me.

Definetly Maybe is a classic and is rightly as high as it is.
Just because it doesn't fit in with 98% of people taste on here, doesn't hide that fact its a damn good album. Many of the other 90's albums are the same. The only album unrealisticly high in my opinion is The Libertines.

Why are there so many people who only consider music from their own decade(s)as the only good music? Radiohead was by far the most influential band from the nineties. If you don't know them, don't judge other people for listening to them. The fact that you're unfamiliar with them makes you a musical fossil. Every decade has it's brilliant bands, people who aren't willing to see this haven't got a decent vision (only one vision) on music. They like music because of nostalgia.
