My 2 cents:
I can't say that I'm the most active member of QueenZone, but I read and post on occasion. I download stuff and I share as much as technology permits - my computer is an ancient piece of junk and my download/upload speed can't even begin to compare to most of yours. I help out whenever I can by posting songs and/or bootlegs. There is a fine line from sharing to leeching and I try not to cross it.
And if for some reason I have offended anyone by not expressing my gratitude, I apologise. I am extremely grateful. You guys are great! Like Brian May said - the spirit of Queen is still alive and you are all a proof of that. Thank you!

I believe that may be so. Thankfully his type are few and far between. And a massive thank you to all who shared their stuff again.
If you use rapidshare, you upload it once and everyone that wants it can take it.
If you use torrent, everyone can only get it as long as others do the right thing.

No because RapidShare is nothing to do with the QZ Tracker. It is basically a file hosting site for those who wish to send large files to one another.
That's right, but IMO people that download from Rapidshare should thank the uploaders just as well... I don't use torrents, and I always thank people for uploading in RS.. If politeness end, then there will be no sharing at all in a nearby future...

Thats equally correct, Ivan. A simple thanks to all who share, whether it be RS ot torrent, would be nice. My response was because someone had asked whether RS would be monitored like torrents will be.
I think that everyone that has the oppunity to download such great gigs can make at least one minute of time to say 'thanks'... I always do and I find it quite normal to do so...

Why don't we have something like an hide option where the torrent is hidden and only by replying to the post you will get to see the torrentfile and will be able to download it. So everybody has to post before downloading!
I see this a lot on all kinds of forums that share files/music and so on...
I also see when there are only 2 seeders (and I am one of them) in the morning before I go to work and 10 leechers. When I'm back there are only 3 seeders and all leecherz are gone. And this can't be a good thing...
BTW can somebody please reseed: "Queen + Paul Rodgers - It's Bliss! - Filaforum, Milan 05 April 2005" I'm stuck at 99,7%... Thank you for the person who is willing to help me out!

I had, unfortunately, no rare concert or interview or ANYTHING related to Queen (except Official released), when I joined QZ.
It was one of the better experience I've made, and I would like to thanks all the QueenZoners who share the new concerts I have now.

I must admit I have been guilty of not thanking people for downloads in the past - for which I now humbly apologise. Thanks to everyone here who make all this wonderful Queen material available to us all.
As for torrents, I do tend to move stuff around which throws the torrents off - but I am currently trying to keep 4 or 5 torrent downloads where they are and keep the torrent up and running. I currently have, Buffalo, Boston, Imagine Hyde Park vids and Liverpool 73 and the Demos torrents open if anyone is looking for them.

I am as well among the people that don't post a thank you. I am very honest when I say that this is not out of laziness or ungratefulness. It is merely that starting the download is just a click and I always have 20+ windows opened.... I know it is not an excuse, but I am just trying to explain it.
I recently posted a big thank you on the Queen Hub Messageboard. It is the same thing over there. I am thankful for everyone that shares something, but I don't get around thanking everybody personally.

... just to add my two cents, FWIW.
I don't download much from QZ because I have very limited access to broadband (a few daytime hours on workdays).
My way to say thank you has always been to use the highest upload rate available and keep the torrent terminal open as long as I can, above share rate 1.5 at least - I generally stop at 2 or 2.5, depending on the speed.
As a result, large downloads usually remain incomplete for me, because they take days for me, while everybody else downloads faster than me then disappears, and seeders rightfully remove the files once the request drops, to make room for new material.
But I avoid asking for reseeds because I don't think it would be polite to do so - after all, I am at fault if I wasn't able to catch that golden moment and enjoy some kind soul's generosity, and I have no right to ask for more.
That said (though this should be in the request forum): anyone please any suggestion where I can find at least a video of Foreign Sand?
I'm looking for either the live footage from Nara or the official TV promo; I already have the TOTP-like Japan TV show, which IMHO is the weakest emotionally.
