As regards Question #1 from you, I haven't downlaoded any concerts off Queenzone. To be totally honest, I didn't know this facility was available, but if I did download any, I wouldn't sell them on eBay. This wouldn't be fair on the person that has placed it to be downloaded for free.
However, as regards your point made about apologising to the gentleman/ladie who placed this for free download; no, I will not apologise, because I was as gullable as the rest of the people buying my items on eBay, in that I purchased the CD myself off someone else. Therefore, it is not me been the 'unmoral' one, it is the origional person selling this CD that should apologise, if there needs to be one.
A point that I should make is how the hell do you know that this person selling them prior to me on eBay didn't actually record the concert him/herself?? There you are again Mr.Winkle - making pre-assumptions.

I didn't know that I needed rights to sell this CD on eBay... however... I'm sure you will try and prove me wrong.
And as for the Queen+PR band members, I'm sure that if you read their website, you would find that they actively support bootlegs, and even have a list of the top 100!! They see it as a way to allow fans to listen to the concerts that were never officially recorded.
As for your comment about stating on eBay that you could download this product for free... well... what would the purpose of that be?? If I did that ther'd be no chance of me going to Hyde Park would there??

They Support the act of "Trading" bootlegs, not really sure what the Op about downloading for free..not selling

If you look at the amount of bootlegs on sale just for Queen concerts alone on eBay, you will probably see there are far to many people wanting to purchase them, and far too many listings on eBay for the company to control its rules and regulations on what you can and can't sell.

Nothing in life is fair. There is probley Thousands of die hard fans who would give to even see any show of this tour but cannot due to location and money.
The fact is, you are making money out of this, money to go see another show, you are making money from people who are Un-aware that they can get this product for free, and that it was supposed to be free, thats why it was put on the internet, so every one can enjoy this free, while yes it was a shame that you paid some one for this when you in fact should have gotten this for free, but all you are doing now is lowering youself to that guys level.

why dont you just ask the band what they think?
Lets see if they agree that no one FORCED you to go to this show, you went, so you paid what the going rate is to go, that does not give you the right to sell a bootleg of the show.
A even better Idea, why not state in your ebay, you can d/l this wonderfull show for free, or just buy the CD from you? sounds like a great Idea.

If I knew someone who stole some Queen tickets from a mutual acquaintance, and he sold them to me, it would be acceptable for me to resell those tickets because I was not the person who originally stole the tickets?

Please make sure you put a disclaimer in your e-bay sales in the future, stating that they can buy the concert from you rather than download it for free from Queenzone

The scenario you've just painted it taking this topic totally off course.
I have NOT pinched the bootleg off anyone - I bought it legally off eBay myself. I then simply came up with the idea to sell this on and make a profit to buy a ticket with.
I did not physically go into someones house and pinch this CD.
