most rock bands (surprise, surprise) have guitars bass and drums....in that era you could liken Queen to fucking oasis
you missed the more subtle similariities that most of us overlook
queen called their album ANATO because of John Lennon's love of the Opera
freddie's early band was called Sour Milk Sea - after a famous John Lennon quote after being given a bad cup of dahjeeling when he said " Christ this tastes like it came from a sour milk sea"
Brian's second band - Smile was so-called because of Ringo's nervous twitch that manifested itself as a permanent smile
Brian's first band was called 1984...he got the inspiration for this from Paul Mccartney's favourite George Orwell book - "Animal Farm"
I thought he named the band 1984 because of the book 1984.

sorry. i can't believ you picked me up on the most obvious of several very bogus points i made
- i thought they were all FAR TOO FAKE for anyone to think i was serious - i had kinda hoped most would see i was joking
what i meant was the cover ok
the lay out on hot space and let it vbe are identical and the insturments are corresponiing as in freddie and jhon are in the same palace and btw anato was named for the marxs bros. film

Brenski LOL!
4 members = 4 members
British = British
Not being anymore = not being anymore...
Yeah, a lot of them.... as well as many other bands, I guess

cheers 7Innuendo7,
Dude didn't get it
and even thought i was serious
Dude, we ALL already knew where
anato came from
1984 came from
hey dude - bet you didn't realize the proper origins of SOUR MILK SEA
for the uninformed
it was a George harrison penned single for Jackie Lomax from 1968
If your life's not right, doesn't satisfy you
You don't get the breaks like some of us do
Better work it out, find where you've gone wrong
Better do it soon as you don't have long
Get out of Sour Milk Sea
You don't belong there
Get back to where you should be
Find out what's going on there
If you want the most from everything you do
In the shortest time your dreams come true
In no time at all makes you more aware
A very simple process takes you there
Get out of Sour Milk Sea you don't belong there
Get back to where you should be
Find out what's going on there
Looking for release from limitation?
There's nothing much without illumination
Can fool around with every different cult
There's only one way really brings results
Get out of Sour Milk Sea you don't belong there
Get back to where you should be
Find out what's going on there
Get back to where you should be
Find out what's going on there
Get back, get back, get back
Why don't you get back now
You don't belong here
Get out of here, babe

That is the stupidest thing I've ever read. They called it "A Night at the Opera" because a Marx brothers film happened to be on one night.
None of the members of Queen remind me of the Beatles, however their voices can sometimes sound similar. Freddie sometimes did Lennon-ee things.
"Because" sounds like early Queen to me, and "Doin' Alright" sounds like very late Beatles.

you hate the beatles?
why?
is it now cool to hate the beatles?
in my opinion it is rather difficult to like queen yet hate the beatles.
the beatles were amazingly good.
no beatles = no queen.

all members of the Beatles wrote songs, as well as Queen. All members wrote #1 hits.
All The Beatles didn't write number ones. Also Hot Space is very similar to U2's POP. Same cover, same kind of swerve away from usual music.
don't forget they ALL played musical instruments...
the beatles were amazingly good.
no beatles = no queen.
i did this one months ago - and got slaughtered for being a heretic
