Velvet Revolver will never be as good as the original Guns N' Roses...

...yet Velvet Revolver will always be better than any band that Axl tries to form, split, and re-form under the 'Guns N' Roses' label.

I only like the one G N R album, that was appetite, everything, except 'Used To Love Her', sucked ass. Never liked any of it. Very overrated.

Their long songs bore me-and I'm a prog fan, I can listen to 'Close To The Edge' and 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' and then settle back for a bit of 'Tarkus' and not get bored.

G N R are mostly liked y people who haven't got a clue about rock 'n' roll, they just loike the ones on MTV (November Lame/Sweet Child O' Fuck Not This One Again/Paradise Shitty), people like my sister.

She says " I like G N R."
I say "I only really like stuff like Mr Brownstone"

"What's that"

"One of the fans' favourites. Or Its So Easy, or Rocket Queen"

"What are they?"

"You don't fucking like them at all, do you?"

That's funny, a lot of people say the same about Van Halen when MTV started constantly playing all those videos from 1984 .

2 reasons why I don't care too much about Oasis, Coldplay or White Stripes, both bought yesterday
1. Dream Theater- Octavarium
2. Audioslave- Out Of Exile

WHAT A FUCKIN' AMAZING RECORDS!!! Coldplay doesn't go anywhere near!!! Audioslave delivered big time, 10 times better tahn the first album, Rick Rubin did it again. DT is just... beautiful. Different than the last one (Tot) but great. GREAT!!! Why would I bother with Keane or any other Keiser Chief if I have something as good...?

Yes yes Fenderek, another Audioslaver...

Great album ain't it? And did you get the Like A Stone acoustic bonus track? Awesome...

And as for whoever said that Meg and Jack White used to be married is an idiot lol. There are brother and sister. Just check the DVD from Blackpool, and the fact that they're brother and sister, that also gives it away.

I've had a great couple of Audioslave months actually...

A friend copied me the album when it first came out this time 2002 I think roughly, and only in March/April of this year did I really listen to it all the way through - and I was blown away. Then to find they got the new one released... well it's been like a double album for me! And I just missed out on tickets for their third show at the Brixton but alas it sold out too quick. Would have been ggod, especially as they've started to add two or thrre Soundgarden and Rage songs to the set list.
E
I tell you why Fenderek - cos you can make out audioable noises with Colplay, Keane and the Kaisers! ;)

Same here! I'm hopefully going to buy it today. Anyway, there is a lot of crap music out, but then there are other bands that are great! Right now, I love:

Muse
Kaiser Chiefs
Razorlight
Damien Rice
Keane
Jet
The Killers
Spoon
Franz Ferdinand
Green Day
Coldplay
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.
E
An American liking Razorlight, cool!
How did you discover them? Didn't think they'd really got much coverage, unlike The Chiefs and Bloc Party who are doing alright.

Funny thing is:
we acn discuss whether Coldpaly is good or is it the Audioslave that matters, but...
we agree on one thing- this is a great year! :)

So far I don't think it's been so good.

2003 and 2004 were somewhat better.
