Robbie stormed Live8 London yesterday and did justice to WWRY. Okay Freddie cannot be replaced but Robbie would be the second best thing. Whether you like his songs or not he has an excellent way of getting a crowd going and has that bit of arrogance (which Freddie did as well)needed on a stage like that.
I'm sure Robbie would have been a much better option than that gimp Rodgers.
Drop the Queen name Brian and Roger and employ Mr Williams and I might just go to your gig.
RODGERS OUT ROBBIE IN.

atleast paul rodgers is a vocalist, robbie williams is a teen idol/celebrity in my opinion. singing definitely isnt on the top of the list of things he does well and if it is thats pretty sad...that was mean, i'm trying not to be so negative so i can have good karma. anyway george michael is definitely a singer and could handle a lot of the queen songs vocally. i dont know if george has the versatility to pull off a tie your mother down or hitman but he could sing a ot of the songs freddie and john wrote...lol, ironically the two members not in queen because of two totally different circumstances.
*twitch* Robbie...Williams...*twitch*

I think one could fairly say that George Michael was a teen idol/celebrity for the first several years of his career as well. Wham! were about as teen idol-y as you could get in the 80s.

the difference is george michael was a great singer in addition to thar.
Sack Rodgers Employ Robbie Williams?
OVER MY DEAD BODY!!
They employ Williams and I'll walk. I'm serious, I will turn my back on 'em and just become a casual fan... Oh who the fuck am I trying to kid? They employ Williams and I'll have a go at Brian on his soapbox for it to say the least. I'd probably think up a dastardly plan if they did hire the bugger, but since that ain't happening in the forseeable future, then I can definitely sleep at night...

No no no no what are you on? Queen + Paul Rodgers (for me at least) = two greats of classic rock, Robbie Williams = a wannabe.
Paul Rodgers or Robbie Williams? Are you serious? William's hasn't got one tenth of Paul Rodger's vocal talent. And he looked like young Steptoe on Saturday.
Just ignore that hairy creep!
The Poodle!!! Yay!
"In the beginning, God made the light.
Shortly thereafter God made three big mistakes.
The first mistake was called 'man'.
The second mistake was called 'wo-man'.
And the third mistake was the invention of the poodle.
The reason the poodle was such a big mistake, was because God originally wanted to build a Schnauzer, when he fucked up(...)"

I don't think Brian or Roger want you at their gigs you silly twat.
What's everyones problem with Robbie Williams?
He ain't that bad... in fact I quite like him. No offence to Paul, who I think is awesome, but I recon Robbie could command a crowd far better than Paul - and in a more Freddie like way (given Freddie - and Queen - are heroes of his). And I think it is so idiotic to say he can't sing - that's crap. Liking him or not liking him is fine, but making stupid criticisms is pointless.
We Will Rock You, vocally, mayb not be the best song he could have chosen, and apart from a few Freddie-isms thrown in, he tried to be nothing more than himself. Some of you need to realise that that is what it's all about.
He did Freddie proud out there.
