Being an American I can understand what Londoners must feel about the horrible attacks this morning. I think it would be wise if Queen did cancel the concert tonite. If they cancel, maybe they could have a benefit concert for those who were effected by this mornings tragedies.

Found this on the ticketmaster website:
"Due to the circumstances in London today, the promoters are currently working with Transport for London, the Police and Emergency Services to ascertain whether the planned events in Hyde Park this weekend (Queen and REM) will go ahead. We will have more information later today and we will be posting it here as soon as we know."
basically keep checking www.ticketmaster.co.uk for updates on the situation. and fenderek - your a bell end mate!

Nothing to see here. Please move along...
There's an official statement on Queenonline now, stating that an announcement will be made "much later today" when the boys are back in the country.
Oh and Fenderek, we already made similar posts at the same time, but I was very nearly gonna add pretty much the exact same thing you did about the suffering that goes on around the world every day. Great minds think alike...

This is a terrible atrocity in London, perputrated by cowards against people in an indiscriminate and uncaring manner - it does not weaken my resolve - but strengthens it.
That being said, to put the pressure of 100,000 people coming into the centre of london on the security and social services, and a transport systems severely weakened would not be fair on any of the parties.

I think I posted mine about... 4 seconds earlier :)

Exactly. They have enough to deal with, without an extra 100,000 people coming to London to see a rock concert.
I hope it is postponed.
HYDE PARK HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Tomorrows Q+PR show has been CANCELLED. Due to the awful events in London today it has been agreed that the show should be postponed - we are awaiting details but it is hoped that it can be re-scheduled very soon. We should have more details about this tomorrow if not later tonight.

Yeah... It is just the info from Queen FC. However Royal Parks as well as Ticketmaster, still have no more news. Anyway. In case it is cancelled or postponed, nevermind, I will not be able to participate. What's then? Ticketmaster still didn't make any decision about.
BTW. Hello everyone, I'm newbie here. Sad in such circumstances :|

Brian just posted on his website, confirmation that 7/8/05 is off, and the concert is postponed and rescheduled for one day next weekend.
My heart goes out to everyone in London and the terrible tradegy. Queen show was cancelled, which it should've been, right off the start, I remember 9/11 here in the USA, and the NFL decidiing whether to cancel the sunday games, and they finally did a day later, which was a smart move, yes, another attack within 24 hours, is highly unlikely but u never no what these low life sorry a$$'s, cowards think! Killing such innocent people! For what! Just amazes me these killers can do this with no feelings for human regard!
GOD BLESS EVERYONE IN LONDON AND KEEP THE FAITH!
THE WORLDS HEARTS ARE OUT FOR ALL OF YOU'S!
Is this the world we created........what did we do it for........
