Why change?- They`re playing in a different territory. For the US people it`s new stuff, so...
Take care
Man- I'll be seriously pissed off if they change it NOW. As Erin said- I actually almost crapped my pants when he hit those chords... just to find out it wasn't It's Late but "slow" version of Hammer to Fall :)
WHAT!!! A SLOW VERSION OF HAMMER TO FALL!!??
I hate when rock bands turn their most hard rocking songs into slow acoustic versions. Bon Jovi does that a lot.

Personally I paid mostly to see them play Queen songs. I really don't want more than 4 or 5 Free and Bad Company songs on the setlist.

It's all right actually- it starts slowly and than builds up to "normal speed" heavy point. Nothing special IMO, but not bad either... Personally would prefer Headlong... Or It's Late.. Or white Man... Oh bollocks- I acn come up with at least 30 better titles :)

Now I'm Hee was def palyed during soundchecks in Holland. Few ppl claimed they heard Seven Seas- and few lines from Brian's Another World. One vision was as well mentioned few times... THAN few ppl saw track queues on the screens at the outdoor gigs and there was Is This The World We Created? and Sleeping On THe Sidewalk... Especially the last one would have been a nice surprise... I myslef was really surprised Long Away was played only twice- nice version that was! Miracle was I think fiction. Before Brixton someone was claiming they rehearsed Hitman and Breakthru...- nd that was utter shite... Paul before the tour was mentioning INNUENDO...
That's what I thought, I hardly see Paul singing The Miracle. Innuendo he referred to in the Mojo special, if I remember correctly. Now that would have been brave ! But it was certainly too much work, and not only for Paul, after all Bri & Rog played this one only once. And they had a 2 hour show to set up. This is not the kind of song you can decide to perform overnight, unlike AOBTD and UP, which might have been "steps in the dark", but have been performed quite a few times before.
A shame, though, as innuendo is in my top 5 songs ever.
Maybe if the QPR collaboration continues ?

I'd love to hear the 'Innuendo' intro to KICK the show!! Although I think 'Lose Yourself' kicks ass, I wonder why did they have to pick someone else's song??. Queen has way too many songs that would be excellent to open the show.

Absolutely ! The Innuendo version w. live band and Freddie tape is the one good thing about the WWRY musical. It makes you dream about how awesome this song would have been live had things turned out differently :-(
Hmmm, gives me an idea : how about Innuendo with Freddie instead of Bo Rhap (or better : both !)
Would be one inch from the Elvis oh so postmodern tour, but I think I'd like it still :)

No Way they don't play Bo Rhap. But the Innuendo intro would be cool. I'd love to hear them cover Elvis!! With both Paul & Roger taking lead vocals!!

Queen is far better than Elvis. We need to see the guys play Queen songs. I mean, is not like they don't have enough live material.

If they have to cover anything- let it be Hendrix... anyway- such a huge catalogue of Queen / Free / Bad company stuff... They don't need covers :) They did one in Hyde Park- it was SPECIAL...

Actually when I mentioned Elvis I was thinkin of the whole tour his former band did with videos of elvis, so basically the same concept as Bo Rhap on this tour.
Naturally having a real singer on stage, especially the very capable Paul Rodgers, is much better. With hindsight I really admire him. First it was a very brave thing to do, tackling all these legendary songs that weren't his. And then he's a really good singer, even though he doesn't sound a bit like Freddie. I mean listen to the upcoming American tribute : even with Pro Tools most of the singers make fools of themselves.

I would also like to hear Innuendo added to the show, and more of the 70's songs, especially a few that I never heard them play live before: Stone Cold Crazy, Ogre Battle, It's Late, and Brighton Rock (I did hear them play part of it once, but I want to hear the whole thing). I don't have any serious hopes for hearing any of these, but it doesn't hurt to wish. I would be happy with Now I'm Here if they have truly been playing it in sound-checks. I saw Paul Rodgers with Bad Company just a few years ago, and I would enjoy hearing some of those songs again, but I haven't seen Queen in 23 years and that's the music I really want to hear this time. If they add more Bad Company songs, I hope it's not at the expense of Queen tunes.
