It's going to be the same setlist that's been going on. Maybe a different PR song for the Wishing Well slot like Movin' On or Rock N' Roll Fantasy.
The DVD is going to be released a mere few days after Hollywood. I just can't see them changing the set in anticipation of it being released.
But if they do a big US tour I anticipate several changes. :)

You have no idea, IE. It was like slamming my head in a vice trying to figure out how to type that.
I think the set list will probably remain the same for the two shows in October, with perhaps a different Paul Rodgers song throw in Shooting Star, Rock N Roll Fantasy. However if they are to return for a fullscale tour as planned I would expect more 70s material to be played Somebody to Love, Now I'm Here ect. I expect they will test out the current set list and see what works. I also wouldn't be surprised If Paul sings the complete songs of Radio GA GA and Hammer To Fall. The American Audience will not act to kindly to Roger singing up front and playing to a backing track, it just doesn't work.
I was at the Fort Jackson show in 2002.
It was billed under Bad Company and there was probably about 8,000 to 10,000 in attendance including military personel.

Ok..there was maybe more than 2000, but there was no way near 8000 people there..:-)
It was the first time I'd seen PR/Bad Company.. I was really impressed with Paul and didn't bitch at all when I first heard about him touring with Queen, after having seen him live.
Where are you from, GOODY? :-)
If I hear them play Man On Fire, I'll probably go freaking nuts. They are definitely going for the jukebox stuff here, nothing really exotic.
My biggest thrills as far as unexpected stuff, was when Brian and Roger do Under Pressure, and when Brian did Long Away on, like, one gig. Maybe they'll do Under Pressure in the US?
I do think they will add one or two Paul Rodgers songs and that will be it. I think as a matter or principle almost, they should play the shit out of some of those ignored 80s songs.
They should do Tear It Up!!!

They should do Tear It Up!!! Anyone see the BBC show on Bohemian Rhapsody? Brian and Roger were jamming out to that, and it sounded really good, I thought.

I'm sure AOBTD will be played...
UP as well, always played here on the radio. I wonder if I should screams the Lyrics to Ice Ice Baby when they play UP =)

It would be really nice for them to give us a new song.....although they may wait till spring for that.....I'll bet they are practising Teo Torriate for the Japan tour though...if they give us something...I'm definitely hoping for It's Late, White Man, Dragon Attack, Headlong, maybe even Need Your Loving Tonight although it's a John song....News Of the World and The Game were the biggest sellers in North America so they should add a song from those albums....maybe Sleeping On The Sidewalk and Sail Away Sweet Sister
Agree- Innuendo would be a kick ass opener! I personally was hoping for WAS IT ALL WORTH IT- taped intro and live heavy riff...
Anyway. Man- just wait till you see falling courtain and Tie Your Mother Down... Pant-crapper definitelly :)
Ohhhhhhh man, I can't wait!!
(for the song, not to crap my pants :)
LMAO
I think there will be a lot of adult diapers involved. Perhaps we could set up a table selling Depends for all of us.

If you do intend on doing that, I'm glad I don't have a seat beside you..;-)
Another One Bites The Dust is Queen's best selling single ever in the US so they're bound to play it IMHO. It's probably instantly recognisable in North America as it was a massive "cross over" hit over there!!
Bad Company are also very popular in the States and I'm sure that Shooting Star and Rock'n'Roll Fantasy will be played...songs which are more recognisable and popular than in Europe? Other than that, most of the set will be the same but previous Queen tours to the US have shown that different songs are played there and not in Europe.
Now I'm Here might make an appearance and would make a good show opener!!. They might decide to play it safe or throw caution to the wind and change the set list altogether. We can only wait and see!
