Once a month, typically right around the 1st, a friendly-looking guy who's starting to bald some and showing more than a few gray hairs comes strolling out of a house in England. He walks down to the mailbox at the end of his driveway, opens it up, and pulls out several envelopes from Electra, EMI, and other record companies. He then opens them, removes a thin sheet of paper from each, and shouts, "WOOHOO! ROYALTIES!" He then walks calmly back into his house, not to be seen again until next month.

Such is the life of the elusive John Deacon.

tehe I can imagine that...
Evil will always triumph 'cause good is dumb.
Yeah that's how I picture it......However if he was such a recluse I don't see how that's possible living in a big city like London.
Dislocate your spine if you don't sign.....He say's I'll have you seeing double
John had the respect for Freddie to retire after his death, i think brian and roger should have done the same or at least leave the Queen name alone and dont do these silly Queen+ projects as its NOT and never will be considered as a Queen album and 2, it will not turn out so good.
Freddie Mercury is God TREASURE MOMENT: Continuing QUEENs footsteps http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=42215463

If you took your rime to watch the doco on Night a the Opera (1975) you would find out a whoole lot of interesting facts about the band!

It is perfectly possible in some parts of London, like the one where he lives: kind of a small residential town or village in the countryside.

Where is John Deacon now?

TRAPPED in a box underground. He's been there since 2002 when he lost a long battle with Parkinson's.

Sad, really :( RIP Deaky.
He's in my refrigerator.

Unfortunatly he died 7 months ago in a bizzare gardening accident

JOHN! Where are you? JOHN!
It´s better to burn out than to fade away.
No, seriously, I´ve heard he´s in the final stages of mixing his solodebut album.

True...

i heard him singing the other day while staying in France....
I happen to know John's address, and have been meaning to call past his house if I'm ever in London.

But it's been the best part of 5 years that I've been saying that I'll pop over to London so it'll probably never happen.
