I pray that it ain't Houston. The crowd was flat as a pancake. A silent crowd is a shite crowd. Realese any gig with a loud audience. That's why English gigs always get released. The crowds always make a raquet and it makes for a better show. So do the Japanese.

Houston cannot be proven to be a "flat" audience. The audience wasn't mic'd, as on most raw soundboard recordings. Almost every Led Zeppelin soundboard recording is like this. Does that mean 30+ concerts all had quiet audiences? No. The only things picking up the audience were Robert Plant's mic, and the drum mics.

Yeah, I'd say we remove Tokyo 82 and 85 from the poll, and add Earls Court 77 and Paris 79. Is such a thing possible, or would you have to start a new poll?

Houston should be taken out of the poll too, because it will never be released. The truth that will never be publically admitted is that Brian would never be satisfied releasing this show, because he made so many mistakes on the guitar. Well, unless of course, he took audio from multi-tracks of other shows and patched things up. But again, there is no guarantee that they own a multi-tracked Houston, or any of those concerts in the poll, except for Tokyo 82 and Budapest 86.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I hope the current pollster doesn't receive the same warm response from Brian May that was directed at Mr. Allred.
Blow it out your ass.

I'd have to start a new poll, unfortunately, and I won't do that, considering how many people have voted so far.

If it were 50 or less people that voted, I would've.

Hahahahaha. Actually, I've had a bit of Brian's "warm responses" quite a while ago before, so the joke's on you :P

Is it possible to clean up the picture quality of concerts like Houston and Earls Court ? And could the sound be made into DTS 5.1 ?
Or is all that stuff too old ?

Brian made more mistakes during the MK Bowl concert.

I voted for hammy '79.Most of us have this show of course but I think it should really be released as it is really incredible. Also not so diehard-fans will love it because of the spectacular version of we will rock you and the greatest version of WATC.Also somebody to love is impressive and freddie looks really cool all the way through. It's also only natural that this dvd follows the MKbowl-dvd because it is only a little older but still the setlist is different enough!

If they have the original source materials (eg. film reels, multitrack master tapes), then they could properly remaster and remix the product from those sources.

That doesn't go without saying that if they only had a stereo master of, say, Houston for example (which I doubt), then they could upmix it from 2-channel stereo into 5.1 'surround sound', like they did with Wembley, Freddie Tribute, and "Spread Your Wings" on GVH1 (and God Save The Queen on the original ANATO DVD-A releases as well), though I myself hate that

By the way:I think there wasn't a gig on 10/04/'79 in japan,so what is the correct date?

Considering that Brian's hysterical response to that guy was abyssmally embarrassing, I don't see how my wish for you not to get the same treatment means the joke's on me or anybody else.

Good luck with your poll.

during the earls court freddie had mic problems...it's been already talked about, before MK was realesed.

btw,i voted rainbow'74,but i'd like also Hammersmith 1975,or Budapest 1986,Budapest was filmed in film, not tape like wembley or MK..i think it would be great seeing that film re-mastered...also brian sayd that maybe could be realesed just because of that...and so many extras to put in (the cutin's during the concert) and the one's left behind..
